Printing in Linux Chrome

2023-04-17 Thread Daniel Stasinski via PLUG-discuss
A few weeks ago Chrome started printing everything on my ET-3850 with
fainter blurred and somewhat pixelated fonts. Printing the same thing from
any other app looks great though. I'm lost as to the cause. Google
searches resulted in nothing. Has anyone else seen this?

I've been using vultr.com for many years now. $5 a month for a virtual

Re: Epson EcoTank printer

2022-12-28 Thread Daniel Stasinski via PLUG-discuss
I saw this whole thread about an hour after Amazon dropped off my ET-3850
printer. Linux Mint detected it and all seems to be working fine. I had a
ET-2750 for 3+ years and it too worked fine. The only issue I ever had
with it was when printing multiple copies of a page, it would only print
one copy, but that seems to have been resolved.

Re: multipass on unbuntu

2021-08-19 Thread Daniel Stasinski via PLUG-discuss
Thanks.

I couldn't get anything to work so I did the old fashioned way and just
manually allocated multiple IP's on the host and then used iptables to
forward everything.

ip addr add 192.168.1.151/24 broadcast 192.168.1.255 dev eno1:151
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -d 192.168.1.151 -j DNAT --to-destination
10.76.59.100
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 192.168.1.151 -j SNAT --to-source
10.76.59.100

Hopefully future versions of multipass will handle it all out of the box.

Printer ownership is a lot like boat ownership. Over the period of a year,
it's usually cheaper just to rent a boat for the days you're actually going

For odd print jobs, you can always print to OfficeMax/CopyMax and go pick

Mac DDR4 Memory for free

2020-11-18 Thread Daniel Stasinski via PLUG-discuss
Hey all. I have a package containing an unused Timetec 16gb DDR4 2400mhz
memory for a Mac. If anyone wants it, they can have it for free. I got it
from a friend who could not use it and I have no use for it either.
