Looks like he's got a bintray ookla rhel repository he is pulling from. I'm
not able to deep dive on this but it seems like that may be the source of
his issue. If not is there another repo he can pull from to grab MySQL?

When I did an install,
I could use dnf,
I don’t know if Postgres was a different version or installed differently, but 
the install methods have changed for it.

That was about as far as we got.

Note: I don’t usually use CentOS, if anything more is unusual I wouldn’t know.

I run 7 with the mate desktop. I'm wondering when that will be ready.

I have 8 in a VM as well. What I plan on doing is working on a kick-start
script that will install everything that I want and automate some of the
initial setup

I use iptables now and need to check out nftables to see how compatible it
is.

Have to see if any of my web pages break on 8

Lots of little thing to check.

Next cloud should now work better

Probably stuff I'm forgetting

I've run into a snag trying to deploy it to my apple pro tower I use as a
server. The installation medium doesn't have macefi and so it fails.
