It works nicely when I have to use a Windoze system as a middle man
between two linux systems.

after my father bought it, it still worked and was in regular use.

I am curious.  how does windows handle case sensitivity on the ext2 fs?
 Does it screw with the case like trying to capitalize the first letter
of everything.  95 was pretty bad for that.  I haven't really tested it
lately.
