A new version of TrackStat is now available, the new functionallity is that it is now possible to view statistics in the web interface for: Do you still use the api in MusicInfoSCR? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: More Last.FM problems
[EMAIL PROTECTED] 02/16/06 10:47 AM I would be happy to assist with documentation. I have three initial suggestions. 1. Kindly ask the SlimScrobbler people and/or the Last.FM folks to include a link to YOUR plugin and an explanation that BOTH plugins are needed to actually accomplish music playback with Last.FM service on the Squeezebox. 2. Include a readme file with every release of Last.FM that indicates what version it is intended for (I realize this is on the website, but I think it would help quite a bit). 3. In the same readme include some very basic documentation for setup of the application, including some sample radio stations, etc. I would be happy to assist with drafting something for you to include. Thanks again, now that the service is working I'm really happy with how your plugin works! I totally agree. I just started setting this up last night and don't have it quite working yet, but I'd be happy to help with documentation. These three suggestions are exactly what I was thinking last night as I was hunting around looking for the right versions of everything. I just ran out of time! I still use it since the MusicInfoSCR display cache causes problem with addFormat, but you can safely remove the custom item support if you change MusicInfoSCR so you clear the MusicInfoSCR display cache by adding %displayCache = (); in beginning of setScreensaverMusicInfoMode() as we discussed earlier in http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=20853page=2. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.homeip.net) 'My download page' (http://erland.homeip.net/download) erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=20533 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: See the clock instead of the small spectrum in Now Playing?
Thanks for the information on the wake stuff. Makes more sense once I realize Now Playing is actually a screensaver, not a mode or something that immediately kicks in when you hit play. But to be clear, Now Playing is also a menu location, correct? So the Now Playing screensaver simply takes me to the Now Playing menu item, and then optionally, back to the menu item I was at. And the Now Playing button is changing the configuration of the Now Playing menu location (the nature of the display when at Now Playing) rather than the Now Playing screensaver. Ah, I see. Now Playing is current playlist centric. Just watched it and the name of the folder changed to Now Playing, and now I'm in the Now Playing menu area. I guess the part that threw me off was that when I hit play, it now looks like Now Playing, but I'm not really at Now Playing, yet. Well, it sort of does. I see the Now Playing graphical item as soon as I hit play when browsing music, but the top line doesn't change until I get to Now Playing. Nothing, Now Playing, or Now Playing jump back. Decisions, decisions. All a bit confusing to try and catch on to. I assume I must have missed some Now Playing FAQ that explains all this interaction. But if I had a screensaver like Now Playing that simply had a clock rather than audio bars, that would work for my purpose, but I would need just that, a different screensaver. Yeah, I'm already using SuperDateTime for the weather and sports. Amazing what you can do with this architecture. I've noticed on this board that I often see responses to threads showing as independent threads. Is this a known problem, or is there a way you click to make your response a new thread or something? I notice the same on the Outlaw Audio forums.
