[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Announce: BottleRocket -- control amp power with X10, no hardware mods
Sorry, very poor testing on my part. I just played some more with SoftSqueeze, and I seem to be having trouble with 6.5.0's subscribe mechanism. I cannot seem to reliably subscribe to more than one command, and this plugin needs to be called for several different commands. I've just made a "1.8" that I hope will work, using the (deprecated as of 6.5.x) general callback mechanism. At least with the 6.5.0 tarball release, it seems to respond to the various different ways of changing a device's power. -- peterw peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24065 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Announce: BottleRocket -- control amp power with X10, no hardware mods
And if you use the remote control or web interface to turn the player off and on, all you see are more lines like 2006-12-22 15:55:29.6934 player Bedroom is already at power N where "N" is "0" or "1"? Or does it always say "1"? Time to do more SoftSqueeze testing, perhaps. :-( -- peterw peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24065 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Announce: BottleRocket -- control amp power with X10, no hardware mods
Thanks so much for the update. I had concluded that the problem was the changes needed to be compatible for 6.5, and rushed to try your 1.7. Unfortunately, no joy. It never seems to output the command appropriately, i. e. I never see the output of $::d_plugins && msg("executing command: \"".join(' ',@cmdArgs)."\"\n"); Only the output of $::d_plugins && msg("player $name is already at power $power\n"); as this excerpt from the log file shows 2006-12-22 15:55:09.7035 AlienBBC Playing : Radio 3 Listen Live Real Player(http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/ram/r3g2.rpm) 2006-12-22 15:55:11.1697 player Bedroom is already at power 1 2006-12-22 15:55:11.1812 player Bedroom is already at power 1 2006-12-22 15:55:18.3227 Checking timer Autodisplay plugin 2006-12-22 15:55:19.3180 Checking timer Autodisplay plugin 2006-12-22 15:55:29.6934 player Bedroom is already at power 1 Its not clear, but the br command never seems to be executed.I'm not enough of a perl programmer to see why, I'm afraid. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Announce: Moose 0.50
I want to say...this is your best release, so far. Great improvement, for me any way. Personally, the type is about right on my screen. Before, it was too large. I am running in a 1280 by 1024 resolution. (which is the native resolution for my LCD screen) Thanks for the work you put into this. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Announce: Plugins for rating and "smart" playlists using SQL
Erland, I wanted to thank you for your efforts in creating these excellent plugins. I hadn't even noticed that TrackStat now includes the feature I requested (1-10 rating scale) and has for some time! The feature set is massive compared to the last time I used TrackStat, and it's all very impressive. I really like how I can apply ratings right from the web interface. The automatic backups are a great feature, too. [SlimDevices: Plugins] SoftSqueeze 3 - High CPU usage
After upgrading to SlimServer 6.5.1 and SoftSqueeze 3.2.1 the CPU for the process has increased to 50-60%. The display sometimes flickers. Fiddling around within the remote arrows, the CPU sometimes drop to a normal 1-2%, but after a while, probably when the song title is updated, the CPU will increase again.
