This seems to be an intermittent thing. I haven't seen this in my own setup, it works perfectly here, but I haven't tested it with the STYLE attribute just some of the other attributes. Can you thing of anything that could cause this ? Did the style attribute you selected contain any unusual non ascii characters ? Is the problem only related to the STYLE attribute or do you have the same problem with all the attributes, for example is the playlist name and genre list saved correctly ? egd;227384 Wrote: > I've also noticed that selecting more than one attribute from a single > listbox only results in the first being written to the corresponding > .values file. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Lazy Search Music Plugin v2.3 Released
Yes music magic has been a bit ropey for me as well, i always controlled music ip from the pc end with the MIX and SEND TO buttons. Most of the time it did not create the full number of mix items. So i would end up quitting music ip and restarting then resending again, a real pain. I didnt know that music ip could be controlled at the squeezebox end with the remote, now i am very happy i seem to get a full 75 mix tracks now every time from the squeezbox remote combination. -- Ashy72 Ashy72's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12230 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29551 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Excellent news - thanks for letting us know. There is a new version of AlienBBC for SS7.0 nearly ready. A beta version will be released shortly. The version on the website marked "6.5/7.0" is out of date in terms of SS7.0 and shouldn't be used for current 7.0. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38427 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Problem with AlienBBC
AlienBBC was working fine for me, but it has started cutting-out and repeating sections when I listen to Radio 4 as a live stream. I'm running XP SP2. I've checked-out a few things per the AlienBBC site, and discovered that it starts repeating sections continuously after about 3 seconds when running the mplayer check - specifically "C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\mplayer.exe" -vc null -vo null -cache 128 -af volume=0:sc,resample=44100:0:1 -playlist http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/realplayer/media/fmg2.rpm Does anyone have the answer? Connect with a SQL client of your choice towards the MySQL > database and run the same SQL query as in alternative 2 above. To facilitate testing I've created a much smaller library (5116 tracks) and scanned it. Everything now seems to be working fine and I was able to browse the customscan_track_attributes table using SQLyog and confirm that the STYLE, MOOD & THEME tags have been read and each unique comma separated descriptor for each populated into the table. :) I'm listening to a perpetual singer/songwriter playlist as I type this :) A question to aid my understanding if I may: to benefit most from "Random for mixed tags" playlists I should be creating as many variances as I like and naming and saving them accordingly for reuse whenever the mood strikes me? If I don't select a STYLE/THEME/MOOD to include and/or exclude I presume that the attribute is simply ignored in the construct of the SQL statement - eg if I select only STYLE = Singer/Songwriter and don't select anything in the THEME and MOOD listboxes the resultant SQL statement ignores THEME and MOOD as criteria? -- egd Thecus N5200PRO >> Transporter >> ATC SCA2 >> ATC SCM100SLAT egd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3425 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38256 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
