Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: New WeatherTime Screensaver adds graphical forecasts
Not sure I like the new night time icons - the crater markings make the icons somewhat busy and difficult to read from a distance. I have modified mine to be more to my liking. Mind you the sunshine symbol for night forecasts has been frustrating me for some time, so thanks for doing this (far easier for me to modify the icons once someone else has done the hard work). I notice in the comments that implementing wind direction/speed is on the to do list. It's very windy here today, and I would certainly vote for that feature. Appreciate it might be difficult to fit on the display though. -- mortod mortod's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4651 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21989 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Faithful Moose user here d(-_-)b I've also become a faithful Last FM listener so I like to raise a question about that combo: In the Tree View (Library) Last FM is not collapsable, meaning when I click the + nothing more than an empty disc collapses. As it is now I must use either the SS7 Web UI or the standard remote control to tune in Last FM. Once started, though, Moose picks up all the information, ART work etc... All other radio stations are collapsable and shows a myriard of stations ;-) Have I missed a setting here or is it something that can be tweaked before a future release of Moose? Hi there, I've just uploaded 0.64d to the site.. It's not really a full release, but I've added experimental support for lastfm and live365 in the radio tree. I say experimental as I've not been able to test them.. They should work though as most of the stations work the same way.. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Alienbbc over stream.mp3
Hello, A friend of mine wants to use slimserver mainly for playing alienbbc streams. Problem: He doesn't have a slimplayer so he uses stream.mp3 for playback in conjunction with an mplayer on linux console. Apparrently there is a problem with streams that need conversion when using stream.mp3. Players are running stream gets connected but no sound. Can you help? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Moose 0.64 (win frontend)
I have installed 0.64d, and it works fine on the local host. unfortunately, I need it most on my laptop. I have pointed the IP address to 192.168.1.66 but awaiting server response still shows at the bottom. The Player menu shows no known players. When I start softsqueeze, it starts OK and plays on the laptop fine. Moose still shows No known players, I have started the log, but haven't included it, because I am probably missing something simple. Try selecting 'proxied streaming' instead of 'direct streaming' in player settings for that player (stream.mp3) is identified by IP on the settings pages. -- bhaagensen bhaagensen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7418 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42930 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Alienbbc over stream.mp3
Because of concerns about copyright - AlienBBC will only stream over Squeezeboxes (inc. SoftSqueeze). It is a software restriction. If your friend has a Linux system with mplayer and does not have a real SB - why not browse to BBC web site and play direct from their webpage - AlienBBC takes the same menus from the website. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42930 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
