Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
Maybe someone find this useful. I upgraded Ubuntu 8.04 LTS to 8.10 and then to 9.04. Somewhere I lost WoL. After some googling I found various solutions but the only one that worked for me was to change the NETDOWN value in /etc/init.d/halt from yes to no. /etc/init.d/halt NETDOWN=no Kind Regards /Bernt -- bernt 'LastFM' (http://www.last.fm/user/ottovonkopp/) SB3, SB BOOM - SC 7.3.3 - Ubuntu Server 9.04 iPod Touch\iPeng bernt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1342 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MIS BOOM Alarm...
Do miss something or is there another bug? Looks like there's yet another bug. Would it be fine if after configuration you re-started SC again? I think there's an issue with the font cache initialization. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer 0.9 - with UK and Non UK Support
I am trying to wean myself over to iplayer but I really miss the programme Category feature present in AlienBBC - any chance it could be added? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer 0.9 - with UK and Non UK Support
IIRC the feed which BBCiPlayer uses does not provide any category info which is why it is not available. However the BBC does provide RSS feed which can provides lists of programs by various categories (see http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/feeds/ ). For example the URL for Radio 4 comedy would be http://feeds.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/bbc_radio_four/comedy/list . These RSS feed could be used to generate a program listing which are then playable by BBCiPlayer. I haven't had time to play around with the RSS but it would solve the category issue which I also use/miss. I think it would be preferable for maintenance to keep BBCiPlayer dependent only one data feed (the XML one) so any category functionality should be provided as an addon in some way. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=67098 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Same behaviour after restarting SC. That is, when custom mode is defined for alarm. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SqueezeIR - A Generic Infra-Red Remote Control Applet for the Duet's SBC
vv3;459673 Wrote: I put together a little perl-script to convert LIRC remote definitions to the CSV format. I tried to convert the LIRC file for my TV remote, and copied it into the plugin directory. When I run the plugin with my config file, I can see that IR-signals are emitted, but it does not work. Let me see your lirc file and the squeezeir data file that it produced and I'll see if I can spot anything. vv3;459673 Wrote: The first value in the CSV format is frequency. How can I determine the frequency for my remote? Difficult if it's not in the lirc file. I guess not all ir learners used by lirc can discover the info. It's usually around 35-40kHz and (usually) isn't too critical, so try 36 or 38kHz and see how it goes. Unfortunately, some stuff uses frequencies in the 400kHz range that the duet just can't do. vv3;459673 Wrote: Are there any plans for making the plugin read LIRC files directly? Yes! The next version will read lirc files, use an xml based config file, and allow the physical keys to send ir from any screen, not just from within the applet. So far, I've written a lirc parser, found a basic xml parser and glued them both together. I still need to write the bit that responds to key presses and actually sends ir though. I'm thinking of calling the next version 'DuetIR' as it's going to be quite different to the current SqueezeIR and I want to make it clearer that it's for the duet only, not SqueezePlay in general. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Squeezebox Server 7.4 beta versions of erlands plugins
Hi Erland: I'm using your multi-library plug in (7.4 beta version) to create separate libraries, 1 of my music, 1 of my wife's. I've also installed the 7.4 beta version of custom browse. Is it possible to shuffle or use random play w/in each separate library? If so, how? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer 0.9 - with UK and Non UK Support
I've asked the BBC a couple of times about adding category information for the feeds used by iPlayer. At present it is not available and so there is no easy way to get it into iPlayer, but will continue to ask BBC about this. -- Triode Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=67098 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
