Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Scan does not read ID3v2.4; Bug?
wowo;482047 Wrote: I see the original years now on the info of my Squeezebox 3 of my ID3v2.4 tagged MP3-files. :) But . very strange: I have ,for instance, the album Super Trouper released in 1997 from the original release year 1980. I see on the info of my Squeezebox 3: Year (=built in): 1980 Year Original (=custom): 1980 But it must have been: Year: 1997 Year Original: 1980 This fault behaviour I see with all my files: Year (=releasetime of the album) is now the same as Year Original (=original releasetime of the album). :( Raw tag scanner only scans extra tags it doesn't override tags set by standard Squeezebox Server scanning routines, this is a change in Custom Scan which I'd prefer to keep. I'd prefer that Custom Scan only makes it possible to scan more tags, not change the logic how Squeezebox Server scans them. What do you see in the standard Song Info page in the web interface that only displays Year, does it also say 1980 ? If it says 1980 is sounds like the Squeezebox Server scanning routines prefers original release time over release time. How did the Song Info page worked earlier in 7.3 ? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Trackstat: Rating track causes player to go unresponsive
Tonight I was playing random songs, and I tried to rate the currently playing track 4*. My player became unresponsive to IR commands, and lost contact with server. The screen came back after a few seconds, but still unresponsive. I looked in the log, and saw the following: [19:34:50.1976] Slim::Networking::Slimproto::_disco_handler (635) Unexpected data stream disconnect type: Connection timed out [19:35:38.1560] Slim::Networking::Slimproto::_disco_handler (635) Unexpected data stream disconnect type: Connection timed out [19:37:00.3959] Slim::Networking::Slimproto::_disco_handler (635) Unexpected data stream disconnect type: Connection timed out [19:37:35.2936] Slim::Player::SqueezePlay::updateCapabilities (140) unknown capability: ---=1, ignored [19:37:49.7826] Slim::Networking::Slimproto::_disco_handler (635) Unexpected data stream disconnect type: Connection timed out [19:40:03.1543] Slim::Player::SqueezePlay::updateCapabilities (140) unknown capability: ---=1, ignored [19:40:39.4415] Slim::Player::SqueezePlay::updateCapabilities (140) unknown capability: ---=1, ignored Not sure what is going on - Trackstat causing the problem, or just a recent change to SBS? 7.5.0 SVN29156. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spicefly SugarCube (Automatic MusicIP DJ)
It's almost a month since my last post about Sugarcube and extended characters on 7.4. I understand that it's not supported on 7.4, but almost a month ago there was a ray of hope when the source of the problem appeared to have been identified. A thread in the Developers forum was started to try to find and fix the problem... but there has been no follow up. So, I guess that there is nothing being done about it. With 7.3 and 7.4 I still have a re-buffering issue with the first track that's played. When SugarCube is enabled the first track pauses and then restarts while SugarCube fetches or tries to fetch the next track. It does not happen with subsequent tracks. I believe that it's timing issue between MusicIP and SugarCube. I was trying not to bring these issues up again, but voicing my grievances here and hoping that they're fixed is the only thing I can do. Btw, are these SugarCube issues going to be fixed for SC releases beyond 7.4 or is 7.3 the last supported SC release? -- tamanaco tamanaco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4620 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49226 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Trackstat: Rating track causes player to gounresponsive
Are you using TrackStat Playlist ? No. I rebooted the server and then rated the track from the current playlist on the same player without any problem (music wasn't playing though). Not sure what the problem was - might not have been anything to do with Trackstat. I may not have much time to investigate further for a few weeks (my wife is likely to go into labour at any moment!). I thought I'd just mention it here now, so I don't forget. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPlayer Won't Play BBC Listen Again on QNAP
OK. I think I found a bug so attached is a modified version of RTMP.pm file. Can you use to replace the file of same name on your system in the BBCiPlayer plugin directory. Then restart SBS and test as before with a log so that if it still fails, it will be possible to see if the change made a difference. +---+ |Filename: RTMP.pm | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=8643| +---+ -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70812 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] XM radio plugin with 7.4?
cff;474738 Wrote: Until the XM plugin is updated I figured some others here might be able to get their XM fix this way also... - Download and install uXM (1.0 rc4 was the last version before it was discontinued but it's still around if you search)..if you cannot find it, PM me and I can email it to you. - uXM will login to your account and then you can add your channels into your SC favorites manually by going into uXM, selecting the URLs button, the Channel you want to tune, choose MMS stream, then click CLIPBOARD to copy the URL. Now, copy this URL into a SC favorite and you are good to go. Certainly not as nice or functional as the XM plugin, but it does work for now.. Works great! Had to manually edit the favorites in the conf files, but otherwise works good enough. Is there any way to associate a custom image file to be displayed when using these channels/favorites? I'd like to use the XM logos for the few channels I have programmed with uXM.
