Though I told SDT to get forecasts for 5 days it shows me on the classic only Screens for currently, today, tonight and tomorrow. No further days, but then blank screens. I would like to have a single screen saver from 07:00 to 23:00. In between these times I would like to have my screen off. Is this possible with this plugin? I have tried to set this up but I don't seem to be able to set the End Time - once I have set the time there is no button to accept to my only option is to 'go back'. But then when I go back and check the end time it has reverted to the default 12:00. You can play Stream.mp3 via the web player (on HTC Desire, at least) but it isn't great and obviously offers no control from the phone. Loving the app - thanks for continuing to take the time to work on it :) I've got all my songs as FLAC, and use Andless on my Nexus One to play FLAC tracks. However it seems that SqueezeControl downloads them fine, even using a nice directory structure that works brilliantly in Andless - however the extension winds up being .null - which is enough to stop the show. If I then go in and manually change the extensions to .flac it works fantastically! So just a small update there to address the .null issue? Ok, I installed the test2 version and enabled debugging for databse.sql and custombrowse. After starting the server I did the same steps as before with the following results: - Entering the CB Artist menu took about 1,5 seconds. - Entering the "S" sub menu of the A-Z menu took about 10 seconds. - Entering the CB Album menu took about 5 seconds. This is a great improvement. I then tried the CB Artist and Album menus of my daughter's music. - Entering her Artist menu took about 1 second - Entering her Album menu took about 4 seconds. Great improvement too. It seems that the changes had an influence on the album menus but not on the A-Z sub menu. Artist menus are excellent, album is medium (much better than before but the original album menu takes only about 1 second to enter), but A-Z is still very slow. So I am guessing no one has had this problem? I figured someone might have run into something similar, perhaps with the a custom scan on moods where you might have multiple moods for a file? I am stumped and was hoping I was just doing something wrong or at the worst, at least find out that it isn't possible to make this work. If you feel that this version makes it reach an acceptable level it would be great if you could try it out a bit and make sure: - All menus works - The tracks and album lists looks the same (since I had to change the rendering logic quite a bit there is a risk I've introduced some new bugs) Assuming it's fast enough, I'll make an official release based on the test3 version after I have tested it a bit more. I suspect it would be possible to do some, but not all, of the optimizations also in the web interface, but I think I'll handle that in a future release. The Controller/Touch/Radio interface feels more important. Regarding the standard menus, from the database.sql logs it seems like the standard menus are completely cached, so it doesn't even query the database when you enter these. I'm not sure how easy it will be possible to do something similar in Custom Browse since there are so many different configuration scenarios. I could possibly add some configuration parameter on each menu where you can configure if you like it to be cached or not. I'm just not sure if the amount of cached data will just move the problem to making it take time to handle the cache instead of executing the queries. It's a lot easier to handle this in the standard menus since there is only one possible "Albums" menu and one possible "Artists" menu.
