Sorry, not using iTunes 10 myself. The plugin stopping working after an iTunes upgrade is a fairly common issue (on Windows) and reinstallating usually fixes the issue. Seems like it fails to install the COM components sometimes. Anyone using iTunes 10 without issues? Sorry, that got scaled so that you can't read anything. Have you seen the other posts, seems like others have similar issues without iPeng, maybe it's related to the playlist API in 7.6 beta although I haven't really noticed it myself. Anyone having problems with playlists might be interested in this message I've sent to Spotify: "I created a playlist using the Windows Spotify client. I renamed it. I added several songs to it. A while after closing down Spotify I tried to find the playlist using the Spotify plug-in for Logitech Squeezebox. At first no playlists would be listed, then eventually, after several attempts the playlists were listed but not the new one. Some time later the new playlist was listed but it only had one song in it and it was named as it was before I renamed it. And now, three hours later, that is still the case. In order to eliminate the plug-in from the problem I checked with the iPad/iPod app. It similarly showed the old name of the playlist and it only contained the one song. The problem therefore is NOT caused by the Squeezebox plug-in. I have now looked again using the Windows Spotify client. The playlist is there under the old name (ie. the name before I renamed it) and it contains the songs I added. Clearly there is something wrong with syncing of playlists. I pay for Premium so that I can use Spotify on the Squeezebox system. If this problem persists I will have to review my subscription. There is a quirk with Windows Media Player 12's 'Play To' feature that means it doesn't work with non-standard settings for the 'font scaling' setting in the Display control panel! Quite unbelievably, WMP would not 'Play To' when my font scaling was set to 104% but worked fine when set to 100%! The symptom is the Play To window opening and then closing immediately. I thought it was Whitebear at first (since I thought I recalled WMP Play To working in the past, but obviously that was before I adjusted my font scaling), but then it happens with all UPnP renderers and servers I tried. Obviously not Whitebear's fault, but I thought I'd post it here having just ran into the problem myself in case anyone else has it too. I don't think there's a fix from Microsoft at the moment, the workaround is just to set your font scaling to 100% (I think I read 110% and 125% might work too, but no non-standard sizes like my 104%) Then... Asset Control and Whitebear doesn't seem so hot -- it doesn't have a progress bar or artwork and track details when playing to Whitebear but does when playing to foobar2000's renderer. Is it Asset Control or Whitebear at fault here? Also, if I give it several tracks, it seems to only play the first 10 or 15 seconds of each one (same amount every time) before skipping to the next track. Anyone else had that? There was an error loading the remote feed for : (Connect timed out: Bad file descriptor) Any clues? Disabling or uninstalling them doesn't remove any configuration or
data, so it shouldn't cause any problems if you need to do so. Just
make sure that you don't manually delete the complete Cache directory
where the database is stored, at least not without having a backup of
the TrackStat data in XML format.

Interesting. I've got something similar. Although it doesn't have to be the first song in a playlist - but rather the first *played* song. I mostly play by album, and often when I start playing some track from some other [i.e. not in the current playlist] album, the player doesn't start, but after a while, skips to the next track which indeed starts. I have a problem in 7.6 where music almost always skip in the first song in a playlist or album . I want to be a good beta tester and rule out 3'rd party plugins as culprit.
