The version of iPlayer is v. old and I think it may not be able to play all BBC streams. Due to Flash authorisation - iPlayer can only play BBC rtmp streams. This error was caused by a bug which I think should be solved in the
Custom Clock 2.9.3431 version which I just released. However, I suspect
that won't solve your problem as this problem occured when you accessed
the Extras/Custom Clock menu. Before using Custom Clock, you need to
first configure styles and that's done in the
"Settings/Screen/Screensavers/Custom Clock Settings" menu. Try to
configure a style and if no styles are shown when you try to browse
into the "Settings/Screen/Screensavers/Custom Clock Settings/Config #x"
menu, login via ssh immediately afterwards and look in the log and see
if it contains some errors similar to the one you just posted.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] rhapsody>jriver>whitebear>SB Touch?
I can play (the new version of) Rhapsody through jriver on my computer's speakers, but only to "here" at jriver, not to my SB touch. I currently can get my other music files to play over the SB touch just fine by using whitebear. I currently have the Rhapsody subscription that allows me to download with digital rights to only one playback device. Even though the files are only going to my computer once, does the fact that I want jriver to also play them though my SB touch mean that I have to upgrade the Rhapsody subscription so that I have digital rights for up to 3 playback devices? Or is there another way I should be configuring this? Napster is WMA so you need to use the PlayWMA plugin on the server. I don't know whether a Marvell chip is fast enough for that. Hi Pippin, I don't know if someone posted this before: Playback with iPeng's internal Squeezeplay functionality doesn't work with napster (only with my music). Napster playback works fine with my other squeeze box hardware (duet, boom) but not with iPeng. Any ideas ? I am using SBS 7.6.1 on ARM architecture. Thanks, if you are willing to patch it, you can try to open the
CustomScan/Importer.pm file and remove the following lines in a text
editor:

Another example The plugin search 'budgie' gives 2 hits. 'Budgie' and 'Mr budgie' both of whom are artists. Spotify app gives both these Artists and another 31 hits with 'Budgie' either in the track title or album name. 2 have both budgie in the album title and track name, 29 have it in just the track name. An update on the 'Weave and Spin' search - Doing this on the album tab on the iphone is similarly broken - Offers 'weaver and span' but brings up no albums. So to re-cap 'Weave and spin' search on the pc app offers 'weaver and span' but brings up track 10 from the album and the two others mentioned above. On the iphone doing the search on tracks does the same. On Albums it offers 'weaver and span' but no album. It obviously fails on the 'artists' tab. Lady Maisery on the Iphone offers the artist plus 'lay misery' in the artists tab, the album plus 'lay misery' in the albums tab and all 14 tracks in the tracks tab. It used to work in the old version BTW ! Is anyone else not getting the results they expect in the new unified search box ? Artists I know are there (from my spotify app on both PC and iphone) do not appear when I search. An example would be the Lady Maisery album 'Weave and Spin'. I've tried the artist with capitalisation and without and get offered 'Lay Misery' but does not bring up the artist. The spotify app offers me the same 'Lay Misery' but also brings up the album. Searching for the album title on the plugin offers me 'Weave and span' but no albums. On the app I get offered the correct album and 2 tracks ( from Ruth Barrett and Wishing chair) I've done a clean reinstall for 7.6.1 as well as an uninstall and reinstall of the plugin and a reboot for the 'plugins have been updated' loop too. Playback is great and subjectivity is a wonderful thing but I think it sounds better ! HTH to get things back to normal on searching. Are you familiar with ssh so you can use putty or the ssh client of
your choice and login to the Touch and see if you get any errors in the
/var/log/messages file ?

Hi First off thanks Triode for a super plug-in that I use everyday. I run squeezebox server v. 7.6.1 and spotify plug-in 2.0.1 after I upgraded to v 2.x I can not add a playlist or an album to a preset button on my Boom or radios. Before I could just browse to the playlist on the player and hold down the preset button (1-6) for a couple of seconds an the playlist /album registered at that preset button. now nothing happen when I hold down the button, but I can add single songs to preset buttons. That was the last version. Squeezebox Server has been updated to version 7.6.something, but the plugin was marked as being compatible only up to version 7.5. Here's a copy with the install.xml file within updated to claim compatibility with 7.6 - note that I haven't tested properly to see if this is actually the case! Also you still need to install SoX as described above. If you've already got the plugin installed you may find it easier just to edit the install.xml yourself - just change the 7.5 in the line "7.5.*" to 7.6 (and if you like change 1.00 in the line "1.00" to 1.01). I've recently noticed a new behaviour in iPeng when selecting another player in the player menu - while the original player is playing music from an app (for me, slacker, napster, sky.fm etc. all do this). when selecting another player - iPeng immediately sends me back to the My Apps menu, and I have to go back to the player menu to actually turn on the new player, etc. This does not happen when playing music on the original player from my own music library, and I'm almost positive it didn't do this until recent changes - not sure if it's 7.6.1, or the latest iPeng version. Slight update it's better but something is still broken. The data is there sort of. If you open the web control panel and click the trackstat icon you cannot view any data, however if you add your music to a playlist for squeezedevice you have the TS icon and you can click that to get back to the data? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Trackstat Data lost after 7.6.1 upgrade
Odd one this, I had all sorts of problems with the initial 7.6 update so downgraded to 7.5.3 and all was fine. All my trackstat data was there. I have just upgraded to 7.6.1 and all looks OK except after the full rescan my trackstat data has been wiped? Although I don't actually backup manually I do a full rescan everynight which in turn creates a backup of trackstat. I have a folder with over 6gb of backup files. However I've just sat through the 3rd restore of the last backup before the upgrade and the log files looks like it has worked but I have still lost all my data? It's around 36,000 tracks and I have the restore NOT to look for alternate locations, so the restore takes just over an hour? Any ideas what I've done wrong?
