Based on the log it kind of feels like the player might be temporarily
disconnected and that this isn't handled properly in the plugins so
they kind of lose context.
Is it possible to force it to stop working by saving TitleSwitcher
settings in the web interface ?
I'm asking because the "Reloading formats" message should only come
when a player previously being disconnected is connected again or when
you save TitleSwitcher settings.

It's not possible in the current version but there will be an option to
select between the old (track details on touch) and new (play on touch)
behavior in next Custom Browse release.

I would love to get the EQ working on 7.7. I have had no luck with it. Can anyone please help? I use Windows 7 for my server. I have no use for the room correction features since I use headphones. The EQ settings show up on the Transporter but do nothing, and also flicker some kind of preference error message behind the settings as you move the values up and down with the remote. Another thing I prefer about Rhapsody is how they separate singles and EPs from full length albums, and the albums are listed in chronological order. I realize these things have nothing to do with Logitech. Just some points of comparison between the two. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Browse Help
Apologies for a basic question but have been trying to search online for an answer with little sucess. I have recently installed logitech server on my HP Microserver with a squeezebox player on an old O2 Joggler. I have been trying to create a custom menu for my 3 year old so he can access his music easily. Have installed Custom Browser and managed to filter the correct music. However on selecting appropriate song it takes me to another menu screen which allows you to play, add to playlist, search for other music etc. On my standard menus in the Joggler picking a song plays it directly without the additional menu. Is there anyway of doing this using custom browse? I have limited programming experience but happy to follow any advice. Couple things I have noticed regarding the SB MOG app:
- there is no "On MOG" menu option in the context menu for local tracks
like we have for all other services.
- sometimes I get see the option to add to MOG Favorites, sometimes
not.
- there's no link back to the artist when browsing from MOG > my
favorites > albums
- Can only add to existing playlists from the track menu. If you want
to start a new playlist you have to go back to the main playlist menu
and create it first.
Overall, Rhapsody seems better organized and complete, but since
upgrading to 7.7, the context menu for Rhapsody tracks no longer
appears. On the Touch I get "Cannot request not-HTTP URL" and in the
WebUI "No content found for this request. {0}." Did anything change
with the Rhapsody app? It's pretty crippled without a context menu.

Yes, if you write good UI code that scales up nicely, it works pretty well. ;-) Most problems I had with making the current SC Honeycomb compatible were due to undocumented API changes. OK - I see the description issue. It needs a change to iPlayer plugin and I have suggested it on the BBCiPlayer plugin thread. The two programs played are the same. The latest version of BBCiPlayer plugin uses an playlist of available formats - the playlist has an "iplayer://" URL - the playlist contains the "rtmp://" (Flash/AAC) stream. In another thread a user has noted that with the change to "iplayer://"
the description field that is displayed in WebUI and Squeezeplay
context menu (Radio "+" or Touch long press) before playing an item has
been omitted.
I think the description field can be added back by the following change
in BBCXMLParser.pm The changed lines are in red.
