Thanks for the reminder, most of the patches which I host should now be
marked as 7.7 compatible. The exception is the "Custom alarm window"
patch which has to be re-invented to work with 7.6 and later releases,
will see if I get some time to look at this eventually but it's not a
priority for me in the near future.

patch installer for 7.7.x? I'm another fan of the highlight color

Putting an App on the main menu is a MySB per-player setting. You can
edit this on the MySqueezebox.com web page under "My Apps".

Using the latest iPeng for iPad, I noticed that the MOG icon only
appears when I am on the Touch "page". It disappears when I select the
Boom or the SB3 as the player. There I have to select my Apps first,
then click on MOG first...

Is that a bug?

Ps is there a way to attach a screenshot to posts?

Based on the log, I think the "auto_rescan" parameter is set to 1 in
server.prefs. So even if they have removed it from the user interface
it might still be active in the configuration and if this is the case
Custom Scan won't trigger a rescan automatically. You can try to
shutdown SBS/LMS, edit server.prefs in a text editor and change
"auto_rescan" parameter to 0 or remove it from the file and then start
SBS/LMS again and re-run the test.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)

2011-12-13 Thread ajs

Hi,

(I'm not asking about the built-in Squeezebox feature that allows one
to update their Facebook wall with what artist, album, or track they
are listening to manually.)

I'm curious as to whether or not it is technically feasible for
Triode's Spotify plugin to update Facebook with " listened to
on Spotify." much the same as the Spotify desktop client does.

Do the library and APIs provided by Spotify have the correct hooks or
can they be used in conjunction with whatever Facebook integration is
already in the SBS software?

Thanks,

Aron

All debugging was enabled when doing the above scan. LMS is not
configured to automatically perform a rescan - in my version (7.7.1 -

No, please read my post again.
You just have to also install the iPhone App on the iPad (it's free as
long as you use the same iTunes account as for the original purchase)
and restore playback in the iPhone App.
As soon as you've done that it will work in the iPad App, too. For

Ah, ok. I think it's too late...I already bought the $10 app for my
daughter's ipad, & then saw it's $5 extra for playback. So I'll just
have to go ahead & spend the $5 for her to use it as a player, right?

Not a problem, this thing is a bargain for me for what it does...

Yes, all settings are fine. Just verified and changed the tags of the
WMAs. Tried it also for FLAC. Changing tags: no avail, deleting files
from library, then scan -> not showing up anymore; reading files, then
scan: files do not return.
It seems, it is not doing anything at all, even adding new flac with
the respective tags, does not work.
