Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SuperDateTime - Current Date/Temperature and/or Baseball Screensaver

2012-06-09 Thread madpatrick

AFter the change of weather.com's website, the weather icon on the
display are good any more.
The update made it forecast working, but the weather icon not.
I day and night icons are no changing at around 22:00 hrs instead in the
afternoon (16:00 hrs)
Also i've only day icons or night icons. Changing the periods in
CustomClock does not work.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: squeezetray

2012-06-09 Thread owenhamburg

squeezetray
Controls the Logitech squeeze box, with basic commands from the system
tray. Based upon wxpython

Its designed for Linux, where their seemed to be no nice desktop
controller for my squeeze boxes.

It might work on Windows and Mac OSX as its made from python and
wxwindows. I cant support Windows and Mac OSX as I dont own these OS
systems, but patches to support these OS's will still be welcome as long
as they don't break Linux.

https://github.com/osynge/squeezetray

Let me know if it simply must have a new feature or that you want to
patch it.

Regards

Owen

Is it possible to increase the number of listings in "New Music"? I
know how to do this in LMS, but can't find a way in Ipeng.

Thanks.

Hi Triode,

thank you again for your quick replys and support! Maybe I'm doing it
wrong, but the results don't get any better. I updated to new version
2.2.6, I renamed all the files you listed, rebootet NAS and server, in
LMS Helper app is still "not running", then I tried to run
./spotifydnoflac manually, but get the same error message back as last
time:

/volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotify/Bin/i386-linux$
./spotifydnoflac
[17:07:22.547674] main:375 ./spotifydnoflac 2.2.5 started
[17:07:22.547995] read_config:284 unable to open config file:
./spotifydnoflac.conf
[17:07:22.548020] main:386 Unable to read config file

Any ideas left? Or am I missing something? Please remember that I'm a
newbie!

That means the server has not created the config file. What does the
server log say if you enable plugin.spotify debug on the logging page?

Mnyb,

I can only see 25 new entries in New Music through Ipeng. Are you
saying you see more than that?

Seem to have been broken for a few weeks now. Anyone else having a

Some stations sound really crappy for me when listening with iPeng, both
on my iPhone and iPad. Strange pumping sound. No problems when using my
Squeezeboxes or when listening to the same stations with TuneIn Radio on
the i-devices.
Some affected stations : Radio Caroline 259 gold, Dylan Radio,
Springsteen radio and several shoutcast stations.
Any ideas whats going on?

Mike

Yes I see about 475 ? Maybe you should try iPengs flush cache setting in
case it out of sync with the server ?

But my server limit is much higher than that .

You are using LMS as source when you see this not a drive atached
directly to the Touch ?

Very weird , what version of LMS or SBS on what computer ?

It is clear that iPengs limit for new music does not strictly follows
LMS limit , but that interaction I know nothing about :)

But we may misunderstand each other completely I use iPengHD on my iPad
are you using a current version on an iPad or iPod or iPhone and what
IOS ? I'm also quite oblivious to eventual differences between the iPad
version vs iPhone version and possibly also the party app .
So maybe pippin has different limits in his apps or some other clever
adaptation ?

I am running LMS 7.7.2 on a Vortexbox.

I am experiencing the same issue on an Iphone 4 and Ipad 2 both running
the current version of IOS.
