It won't affect muso's view of ordering by last added though, if you're interested in using muso for more than just your rating tagging issue, you might find this a more useful view that the New Music list in LMS. The Triode BBC radio player plugin/app that I've been using since the summer has started playing up. Takes ages to connect, was instant on national stations. 2. Drops out. 3. Some stations do not appear to connect. The equivalent stations I loaded into mysqueezebox work fine. Ideas? That ensures that LMS is considered the master database, so on a synch it updates fields in muso even if they have been changed there, even setting fields to blank if that's what LMS has. Personally I don't have that set, muso is my master database since all my browsing is done there, so if I set attributes in muso I want them kept! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MUSO - Support Thread
So with the rating tag issue, please try this: 1) On db view find an UNRATED song, highlight it, then choose Write Selected - if it reports "Changed 1" it may be because it's updated the artist, trackname etc. But at least we know the two are in synch now. Check the date/time updated on the song file itself. 2) Wait a minute. 3) Now set a rating on it and choose Write Selected again - does it report that it has changed 1 or no change required? Check if the date/time updated has changed, and check the tags again through mp3tag. 4) If the date/time updated HAS changed after the rating update, send me the flac file to check it. jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Is the above a command I input in terminal or do I move the MCPAN folder into the perl folder? I'll try that. Yes that looks better - I see the guys on your NAS forum helped you out. Soon we might be able to get back to our original problem of trying to update RATING tags! jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Lol. The web interface should ask for credentials. Try resetting your session by closing the browser. Umm, I added the password protection to my local LMS, now it blocks access even via the web interface so I can't open the same page to set it back! jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Micheal, which of these plugin folders would I place the MHCPAN (/Users/ladmin/Library/Caches/Squeezebox/InstalledPlugins/Plugins, /Users/ladmin/Library/Application Support/Squeezebox/Plugins, /Library/Application Support/Squeezebox/Plugins, /Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane/Contents/server/Plugins)?
