Wow... guess what? Works fine on 7.8 (which I'm running), but not on
7.7.
And I thought they ware almost identical. Now I have to figure out...

I(!) had re-written the LMS caching code for 7.7, and introduce a bug in
there which would cause all content to expire _immediately_, if no expiry
duration was defined while storing something in the cache. The workaround
in the plugin is to define such an expiry in all cases. And then I should
go back and fix the code in LMS 7.7, as I've already fixed it in 7.8...

In short, you're the man of the situation ;-)

He Tripode

I used your pluging with great satisfaction. However my spotify accout
expired. I renewed the same account, but i cant seem to make the plugin
work. The username is still there, but the password-field is blanc. And
it wound register the password (after clicking apply, the server does
not respond). What's wrong?

Can you check what the helper app log says. It could be as simple as
restarting the server and then adding the password into the settings
page, but its not easy to tell without seeing the log.

Michael,

Tried that on 2 of the servers. Original PPC server and the Intel
server. Still the same results with getting HTML markup on the displays.
I placed MHCPAN files in the Plugins (with a "s" at the end) folder.
There is another folder in the Squeezebox file called Plugin (without
the "s" at the end). That isn't the folder to try is it? I even
uninstalled (by unchecking the AR box on LMS Plugins setting) and then
reinstalling AR and still the same results. Any other thoughts?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin

2012-11-20 Thread Michael Herger

oh oh, one thing broken: when I click on play on an album on the left,
no more cover(s) on the right (main and tracks), and on the top right, I
got only the name of the track (not the album), and the name of the
track is replaced by a cryptic qobuz://69115245 (changing at each track)

1.71 is on its way to you and should (hopfully!) fix this problem. Please
give it a try as soon as it shows up in LMS. Thanks!

The _files_ or the full MHCPAN folder? You should end up with
Plugins/MHCPAN and some sub-folders.

Syncing players do two things it proxies the stream on the server vs
going directly to the player .
And it may startup some other transcoding if one of the players are not
capable of dealing with the format .
Especially a software player like Squeezeslave that can't handle 48 or
32 kHz for example .
