Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin

2012-11-29 Thread sebp

Hi Michael,

I'm using ALBUM (YEAR), through TitleSwitcher (and ALBUM is properly
replaced with the album name).
I couldn't tell for sure whether it works or not with other online
sources, as I seldom listen to online services.
I *think* it worked with Deezer when I gave it a test a while ago, but I
wouldn't swear.

I must admit the way tags are propagated from the plugin to LMS is
rather obscure to me.
I tried to look at what other plugins did, and was under the impression
that some (was it MOG?) registered metadata in the database.
The Qobuz plugin doesn't seem to do so, but ARTIST/TITLE/ALBUM are
properly exported.
So, I thought it would be possible to export YEAR the same way?

I'm using LMS 7.7.2 - r33893, in case it matters.

It's actually an issue in MusicInfoSCR: it doesn't read custom protocol
handler's metadata. What was surprising me is the zero: I thought it
wouldn't return anything at all.

It is. I committed your change (with a few tweaks):
https://github.com/pierrepoulpe/SqueezeboxQobuz/commit/61941c42ad3b6267faf6fa4213d559c18c84

But as I said you'll most likely need a MusicInfoSCR update too.

I don't think you need to register again, simply to rattach the player
 to mySB.com.
I haven't done this in a long time (almost never use mySB.com), so YMMV.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try over the weekend and see how that
works out...

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)

2012-11-29 Thread x_jmt_x

Apologies if this has been already resolved, but couldn't find an
answer: the plugin has disappeared.

I have the latest version of Logitech Media Player running on RipNAS and
it works just great. No issues with the plugin either. The player is an
old Slim Devices Transporter

But, about 2 weeks ago, I tried to find something from Spotify via
iPeng. Oddly, the 'search' button did not offer 'spotify' as an option
to search from. Looking into it, the orange Spotify logo of the plugin
had disappeared from iPeng. Thinking that iPeng is to blame, I opened a
connection to the NAS from my laptop and went to the plugins list.

For reasons unknown, the plugin does not appear in the list of
apps/plugins installed nor in the recommended 3rd party plugins nor in
the (rest of the) 3rd party plugins. Ie I can't find it anywhere.

I'm currently at work so I can't backtrace the last thing I tried, but I
found an URL on-line that was supposed to have Triode's plugins
available. I entered the URL to the relevant field in the settings and
while I did get a few plugins that were available for installation, the
spotify was not among them.

Any idea why this has happened and can the issue be resolved? The only
reason I'm paying for the spotify is that I use it at home via the
plugin from time to time. If the plugin is no longer available, then
I'll kill the spotify aswell.

Any help is appreciated.
