Of course there are remote desktop solutions (like Splashtop) which allow you to approximate this now - by running a server on the windows box and a client on your IOS/Android tablet, your windows box can be taken over by your tablet, so you can run muso within that. I don't have a tablet to try this, so I'm not sure how well muso as it stands now works with touch-screen devices - I imagine the remote desktop software itself interprets the touchscreen gestures. jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: New versions of erlands plugins
Yeah, it doesn't seem to be causing any issues but it just annoys me to no end that it has a different number of total songs than it should. Is there no way to get it back in line with LMS? Hello, i would like to be able to use the controller as a infrared transmitter, controlled by a central server. I thought your software might be able to help to help me archive this goal. I installed your Software 1.12 (Download for newer Versions was not working) via SSH on the controller, but was unable to enter the IR-o-IP Configuration menu, a error accured in line "{GetIPAddress() .. ":" .. mtblData["IROIP"]["PORT"]},". I don't have read that much about configuring your software, because i don't need any of these local features. I tried the IRServer before and it was kind of like the programm i am looking for, but it doesn't work when not in foreground. Do your Software have this behavior too or do you got a solution to this? What is the way to go to run code in background in squeezeplay? I may be talking complete nonsense here (I often do) but if I were you I'd consider coding a "HD" (tablet) version first and worry about the phones later. I don't think Squeeze Commander or Orange Squeeze (the other Android third-party LMS app) have tablet versions, they just scale up the phone version (like most Android apps). Muso is so information-rich that I think you would struggle to replicate the experience on a phone. But on a tablet, it would be wonderful. Given the rate at which tablet sales are rising, there might just be a market there. I have 7 and 10 inch tablets. I never use Squeeze Commander on my phone. jdk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9569 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I don't think that's so bad as an enhancement. Agreed. I'd be happy to buy that app. I'd guess most households using LMS are likely to have a home server running 24/7. But I'd need the app on Android... I use Squeeze Commander on Android at the moment, and it's fine for what it is, but the Muso interface is far superior. Muso on a 10 inch tablet would be very nice indeed. jdk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9569 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91575 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: shelfelf
Hey folks, I'd like to tell you about shelfelf (v12.12), a web app with a record shelf and an elf. To be honest: it's probably not very easy to install (you need linux, apache, mysql and a cron job), but (with some help from SqueezePHPAPI) my elf managed to send the commands to a local Logitech Media Server. The shelfelf works with most tested browsers, but the interface is designed for tablets (with a browser running in fullscreen mode). The project is hosted on sourceforge: sourceforge.net projects shelfelf (I'm not allowed to post links) Have fun! shelfelf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53886 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97536 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: muso (production)
1.4.43 Cloud View options via more concise menu. Browse albums now shown as "Gallery View" option. - this redesign is to support new Hierarchical view option which will follow later. Back/Forward now works between different Cloud/Gallery selections. Fix issue on adding new album from LMS (since custom tags enhancement). jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81685 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
