Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
And where does it crash? I do indeed see that I'm having a lot more crashes on iPad 1/iOS 5 than on newer devices. Don't know, yet, whether it's memory related or iOS 5 related. Generally, iPad 1 is still supposed to be fully supported by iPeng although less well tested. pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Only a sync group of office-pc works ok as office-pc SqueezePlay client is on the same physical machine as LMS. So I'm at a loss. Everything else on media-pc is working fine and there are no connectivity issues between media-pc and office-pc (everything is on the same gb switch and is sync'd at gb speed. ashleyw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58923 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

This is very interesting reading. I am a massive MusicIP and Spicefly Sugarcube user, I use them daily. However my original year licence for Spicefly runs out next month. If Smart Mix is as good I might as well save myself 20 quid on a lifetime licence? Especially now the "don't stop the music" feature is enabled. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] NAD Amp : IR Blaster working, direct link not working.
I want to connect the Squeezebox Touch to the "NADLink" input of my NAD system. Did anybody ever try that? As far as I understood the specs, the NADlink simply needs an inversed (1=GND, 0=5V) NEC pulse signal as an input. I was however unable to understand how exactly the "IRblaster" is controlled via the headphone output. My assumption would be that we apply 3.3V to the headphone jack to transmit a "1" (infrared light on) and GND to transmit a "0" and that hence I would a) need to invert the signal and b) amplify 3.3V to 5V? dg1sek's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39558 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39397 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Can you insert a Smart Mix playlist into a Dynamic Playlist on the fly?
currently playing. What would be really cool is if I could hit "Create Mix", or one of the other mix choices, and the plugin would add a predetermined number of songs immediately following the one on which I based the mix. Is this currently possible? No, the plugin has been built to support my personal "never stop the music" requirement. Which means it doesn't build a static list of tracks, but dynamically adds them. I'll add your suggestion to the list of possible enhancements. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
hi, I've been running the plugin for a couple of months - it's been working great.. up till about a week ago. I have LMS running on a windows 7 PC (office-pc). I have SqueezePlay running on office-pc. Everything works great and as expected. I have a second SqueezePlay client running on a win 7 PC (media-pc). If I send the spotify stream to the SqueezePlay on media-pc, then tracks play for a few seconds, then re-buffer constantly. This happens if media-pc is a zone by itself or if it's a slave to office-pc. I have uninstalled and reinstalled LMS/SqueezePlay clients. I have the firewall disabled on both PCs. I'm pulling my hair out on this - the fact the Spotify stream is rock solid to office-pc via LMS means there isn't an issue on the Spotify side or an ISP bandwidth problem. The issue seems to be the reliability of the LMS->media-pc via the Triode plugin unless I'm mistaken. I can stream other media like HD TV between the office-pc and media-pc (both are wired connections on a gb switch) so this shows there isn't a bandwidth issue between the two devices.
