Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotify app and Content not available in your region error message
Hi, Thanks. It's interesting to know the Spotify app uses the XML api. It appears that simply recreating the album playlist seems to fix the problem. Although very annoying, it does appear to be a workaround. My point in the post, though, was that I'm not supposed to be getting NFL updates in May. Well, first check whether the compilation tag really isn't set and then Group Compilation Albums together sounds to me like exactly what you are seeing. You'd have to play around with these settings. pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'll try different settings in LMS like you suggested and see what happens. Sounds like from what you are saying the behavior I'm seeing is normal for the current LMS settings. I'll have to visit the dbpoweramp forum to learn how to properly enter the artist info manually for the discs that dbpoweramp doesn't recognize so I get consitant behavior for all my compilation discs. Thanks. :) Saturn94's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56831 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Thanks. :) you should be able to right click the file(s), and the popup menu should have EDIT ID TAG function from dbpa that would show you all the tags that are in that file and the value. You should see if COMPILATiON field is there and if it has a value of 1. in dbpa, you can manually change any of the metadata info (artist, album artist, genre, etc.) on the ripping page BEFORE you rip just by clicking on the field and typing it in. After the rip, you'd have to use EDIT ID TAG or some other batch approaches to this in dbpa. garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Help please. Plugins won't update/delete - Album Review Biography.
Just when I think I have everything setup perfectly and working well I decide to fiddle and try out a couple of plugins! Problem now is that I have Album Review Biography both listed as Updated Plugins Available. If I select enable apply I get the box asking to restart. Click Restart Now but the page just refreshes and it doesn't actually restart LMS. How can I remove the two plugins or get them to work? I can't remove them, as presumably the updates need to be applied before I can disable them. And they won't work as presumably they need updating. Simple steps please as I a linux noob. Running Vortexbox on an old laptop. Logitech Media Server Version: 7.7.2 - r33908 @ Wed Nov 7 18:17:04 EST 2012 Thanks a lot. phil5556's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59704 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98788 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Help please. Plugins won't update/delete - Album Review Biography.
Turn of the vortex then LMS will restart. You can use the command line service squeezeboxserver restart or stop and then start ,could be logitechmediaserver in some Linux variants try . Plugins can be removed on the plugins page in LMS settings . You can also turn on automatic plugin update.
