I suspect the WHS isn't using utf8, at least my Windows have previously used iso8859-1, this is probably causing the problem. You can try if mounting with charset=iso8859-1 (or whatever your WHS machine is using) makes it work better. If you only have the problem with 96 songs and you only need to do the operation once, I think I would suggest that you: 1. Make a backup on the Wandboard 2. Open the backup file in a text editor and compare the backup on the Wandboard with the one from WHS and see how the path in the "url" elements in the file differs 3. Edit the backup file from the WHS in a text editor and adjust the "url" elements for the 96 songs so they matches. If the issue is a few characters, you can probably do a search and replace on just these characters. erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49483 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Port 9005 did not work even when open, and I tried a couple of other ports (opening them and selecting them in the LMS plugin). Is there something else that could be causing that error? bmagers's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59990 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Annouce: Squeeze Control, a squeezebox remote app, is now available for Android
i've now tried all available controller apps including commander, orange, and logitech's own. each has +'s and -'s. all are fairly robust and do not crash, always a good sign of a good program. commander's biggest strength is in its handling of large lists such as a list of 700 songs or albums. when scrolling, it offers that fast icon allowing you to move up and down very efficiently and most importantly, it remembers the last position so that when you return after queuing up a track or two, you are exactly where you were! this is missing from squeeze control and at its highest price point, it should definitely include this behavior. one important feature to be applauded is the ability to switch music source or server. pavowren's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=51958 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96757 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: New versions of erlands plugins
Hi Erland, I have an issue with exporting/import for Trackstat stats. I am migrating to the Wandboard for my server from a Windows Home Server. I reckon the issue is with the import (but it could be the export). Basically play count and ratings are not imported for songs with foreign characters in them. I am using the WHS backup file to import into the Wandboard. There are no exceptions to the failure, all 96 songs in my library are missing the info. I know when I mounted the cifs on my Wandboard I needed to have the option charset=utf8 in fstab to see these foreign character songs so I'm guessing it is related. Any help you can give would be appreciated CW Chunkywizard's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=25868 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49483 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
