Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Smart Mix plugin
mherger wrote: Mark, there are several issues with your scanner. SmartMix not working might just be one small of them. First of all please run a full wipe rescan. The log you sent me reports 72 new tracks. This can't be all your collection. Then disable artwork import in the iTunes plugin. It fills you log with error messages, obviously doesn't work. And before you do all of this, make sure you have debugging for plugin.smartmix enabled. Only this way we'll get any insight into what is going on with the plugin's data export. Also when you create mixes to test your export (please note, that even when LMS is done exporting your data, analysis can take a few more minutes/hours, and there's no control over this), make sure again, that debugging is enabled. This will give me the exact call the plugin is doing, plus any error message coming back from the servers. Hi Michael, Thanks again for your help. I have sent you some more files. I have run a full wipe and rescan as you suggest and disable the artwork import in the iTunes plug-in. Hopefully the server log file with debugging enabled will show you what's going on. It looks to me as if for some reason tracks are not getting recognised but I have no idea why not. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Experimental version of WaveInput for Mac OS
ernest_klaassen wrote: I've installed the binaries etc. In the install plugin I've changed the allowed version to 7.7 (was originally 7.6. In the plugin page it displayed that the plugin was incompatible. No clue yet whether there are real problems. Ernst, the same happened to me: the 'WaveInput' plugin in the Settings / Plugins list to choose from, said it was incompatible with the present version of LMS. I then recalled shaydon instructions mentioning the manual restart of LMS for other purpose. I gave the manual restart a try, and that was enough to get output audio through LMS. May I suggest you open 'System Preferences' - 'Logitech Media Server', and in the 'Status' pane click 'Stop Server' and then restart by clicking 'Start Server'. Then reload/open the web GUI (point your browser to localhost:9000 and open the 'Settings' page). I you are lucky like I was, you should now see if the Waveinput (1.00) appearing on the list and the ...incompatible version... text replaced by A Mac OS X plugin enabling sound... . Otherwise I followed the instruction to the point and as a result, I manage to stream from iTunes to the LMS I recall another poster had issues with FLACs as opposed to mp3, in my case I could stream both mp3 and FLAC files (imported into iTunes with Fluke) without problems. I needed, I might prepare step by step instructions, tough that would be just minor additions due to existence of newer stable versions of both LMS. The newer versions worked fine in my setup: Mac OS X 10.6.8 on a Mac Mini Late 2009, LMS 7.7.3, sox 14.4.1 and latest Soundflower. Caveat: as of 2013/11 the newest version of the sox binary is 14.4.1. I still used shaydons naming just in case he had hard-coded that in the plugin. Hope this helps! :) LazySqueeze's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62030 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87023 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
First - I tried to register at the iPeng website. I made 5 attempts to enter my password (including copy and paste fro the e-mail) but failed. Next, I have the iPeng player on an iPhone 4, but I recently purchased the 5S. I backed up the 4 and restored on the 5S. iPeng works, as a remote, but not as a player. Can you help? john greenwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41039 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Are you sure iPeng is connected to your server and not to MySqueezebox.com? Could you please send me a diagnostics mail from within iPeng? Just tap the mail link under Help --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and *New: Logitech UE Smart Radio* as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Just tap the mail link under Help I often make a related mistake. I have an iPeng access problem, then I notice that my iphone is on 3G rather than wifi. Thus it is not talking to my server at all. *Location 1:* VortexBox (2.2) LMS 7.8 Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Location 2:* VBA 3TB (2.2) LMS 7.7.2 Touch Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Office:* Win7(64) LMS 7.8 SqueezePlay *Spares:* VBA 4TB, SB3, Touch (3), Radio (3), CONTROLLER *Controllers:* iPhone4S (iPeng), iPad2 (iPengHD SqueezePad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win7(64) laptop Ripping (FLAC) - dbpoweramp, Tagging - mp3tag, Spotify garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
