If so, I just tried it on my Nexus 7 and the Pictures option works fine in both Tablet mode and Phone mode. Temporarily enable "debug" level logging of "plugin.trackstat" in LMS
Settings/Advanced/Logging and play two tracks and mail me the log or
post it here afterwards. You will find the server.log file through LMS
Settings/Advanced/Logging.

Many Thanks!! For information, my main NAS is a Lacie Cloudbox and backup is Lacie Network Space 2. I have also replaced the Lacie firmware with the firmware found here http://plugout.net/. Fvdw and Jocko who author the firmware have been fantastic in supporting LMS and updating the software to the latest 7.8.1 version. The firmware is excellent and a big improvement on the Lacie offering. I would also recommend the Lacie Cloudbox as a NAS for LMS. It has 1Ghz processor and 256MB RAM. It is also fanless and with the disk spinning down consumes very little power when not playing music. The NAS I use only support a single disk and I do a backup rsync between the two.
