You MUST get an API developer key from wunderground.com. Make sure you've updated the plugin settings with the API key and a valid wunderground PWS (personal weather station) identifier (or you can use a US Zip Code). If you've done these things, turn on debug logging for SuperDateTime, and monitor the server log. A good test is to find the URL call for gotWeatherUnderground in the log. You should be able to copy the URL from the server log, and paste into a web browser - do you get a valid response? tcutting's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17402 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Google Music Plugin
Well, I use Squeeze Control, anr it works fine with the Google Music Plugin. Best way to try it out is to use the LMS webinterface directly. If it works there, then the Plugin is fine. I used Squeeze Cimmander for quite a while, but I stopped using it some time back, because it had problems connecting to my server for some reason. I don't like the Squeeze Control interface as much as I liked Squeeze Commander, but it is actively maitained. Also, it did not have thr connection issues. Orange Squeeze is OK, but I never liked the way it was structured. The Side Menu wasn't my cup of tea. Squeeze Control has an easily customizable main menu which does pretty much all I need. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Google Music Plugin
Sure? SqueezeCommander does one thing OrangeSqueeze does, too, for example, which is to use the play commands on the menu item (as provided by the plugin) instead of opening the menu with go (to avoid that old problem with accidental, destructive touch-to-play in LMS). If these commands don't work it's an issue with the plugin. I don't really see why SqueezeCommander should have an issue here if the plugin works correctly, there haven't been any new features in the menu API that SC could be incompatible with since LMS 7.5 was introduced years ago. All new stuff is strictly limited to the local library /virtual libraries, local artwork proxies and things like this). --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 8, the Universal App for iOS 7 and iOS 8* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98526 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: ShairTunes Plugin
Hi all, spent the last day reading this entire thread and another to try and gather clues on how to install on CentOS 6.5!! It's the distro I'm most comfortable with so this is what I want to (and have been for 12 months) use. Anyhow all the dependencies are named differently so by pretty much doing just yum searches I have found them all. Had a problem whereby the devices seemed to register but nothing could connect, after a while I found it was a Firewall issue but also had an issue where it couldnt find the helper even though it was in /usr/local/bin and that was listed in $PATH. So had a look at some of the other directories in $PATH and found there were loadsa files that seemed to be helper int /usr/sbin so put it in there and worked fine. So the problem that I have is to do with the firewall. I can't find any definitive answer on what ports are needed to be open, some sites say TCP/5000 with UDP/6000-6003 and others say TCP/5000-5005 with UDP/6000-6005. However it still is blocked by iptables and just found another site that says there is a big range of high UDP ports dynamically used, about UDP/30k-65k which sounds fairly rediculous! Also if anyone is interested getting this working on CentOS then I'll write a quick tutorial which lists the differently named dependencies as this site has got me up and running! TL;DR Got it working but with FW turned off, what are the correct ports?! Squeeze Commander hasn't been updated since 2011, so it's no longer fully compatible with all the latest LMS features. Use Squeeze Control or Orange Squeeze and it'll work. Have tried refreshing license status via license manager plugin but doesn't seem to work (everything shows as not licensed except for custom libraries custom browse which show as expiring 31/01 06/02/15 respectively).
