You can check for your kernel with "uname -a". The soundcard module needs kernel 3.18.11 to work. You might have something like 3.18.7. All you need to do is running "apt-get update; apt-get upgrade". And Restart... After this you should have the latest Kernel installed and the module will work. Thanks for your report on this! I've got two, one with SBS 7.5.5 under Ubuntu 10.04 and one with L S 7.8.0 under OSX Mavericks. I believe the one selected by the App (judging from the Today widget which works) is the 7..8.0 one.
