Pete, Have you had any luck getting the same configuration of shairport-sync and Squeezelite running side-by-side on Jessie? I have it working perfectly according to your post in Wheezy, but not having the same luck in Jessie editing the /etc/shairport-sync.conf. I'm sure it's my lack of scripting knowledge; it seems I need different scripts to start and stop squeezelite before shairport-sync will work..
