Have a look at the log file (activate logging) it might be that the executable keeps crashing. Some have reported issues with win10 but I don't have yet a win10 install to test. As the autosave option is ticked by default, a configuration will be generated automatically after ~30s, just wait and refresh the page to see it. You can optionally force configuration file generation by ticking Generate.- When I tick the "Start the bridge" tickbox nothing happens (no executable appears) If i press "Apply" at the bottom nothing happens, the page just keeps on loading/searching. When I try to generate a configuration file same thing happens. Refreshing the page (F5) does not help. After a while I just have to close the page, LMS freezes and I have to restart my PC. No matter what I do, it working ok on LMS. The main case when I have seen is with my morning alarm. I play from LMS at night and have it on the sleep timer. This turns the CC off at night. And the morning alarm starts, but with no volume. I'll try to get the logs next time if this happens. That being said, i dont think this is a castbridge/lms issue, but a Chromecast one. I was able to easily replicate this using Spotify app. What i did was - use LMS to cast to CC audio. - stop playback on LMS. - start Spotify app and connect to CC and start playback. - playback starts on CC, but with no volume. - as soon as i do a volume change using chromecast app or Spotify, the volume jumps back to what it should be. Considering that a volume change would bring it back to normal, would it be possible to perform a single volume change to CC as soon as playback starts via castbridge? Just a thought. However, if I mount the HHD with my main music library, it seems to be mounted, but the path allocated is not visible in LMS, or over the network. I've tried two different HDD's with the same result. If one of the images is based on Raspbian then try the pi-update route (run it on a pi2). Thanks flysurfer I picked up a Pi 3 earlier, the two image versions I've tried don't boot. The Max2Play/SP version just results in a power LED on, no activity LED. The default 226 version results in 4 long then 4 short flashes (repeatedly) of the activity LED. Tried two different SD cards, also a working SD from another Pi.
