Still have to figure out how to use SC Spicefly.
Smartmix was a lot easier to use.

If you want to keep using LMS but on a low power option look at a
raspberry pi as the server. Look at max2play

I don't know what andersenthomas' hardware server base is. I was
referring to:
- debian-based installation
- usage showing up on
https://console.developers.google.co.../youtube/usage
- not getting any sound
- libio-socket-ssl-perl and libnet-ssleay-perl is installed and latest
version

All of this applies to my situation.

I am sending you the debug log for the youtube plugin starting from when
I started to play a youtube stream until I stopped it (after a minute or
so) as a PM since the forum won't let me post it in this message as it
is too long.

Hope it helps!

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Play mood with sugarcube and autoplay using tasker or eventghost

2016-06-12 Thread CypherMK

Hi,

I recently started using musicip and spicefly sugarcube. Everything is
setup on my windows 7 server. So musicip headless is running and I use
the musicip mixer to fingerprint my music. One third is already
fingerprinted (12000 tracks). I have setup a mood in the mixer, which
can be played by musicip plugin. And sugarcube is adding more tracks
automatically when the last comes to an end.

Now the questions:
- can sugarcube play mood playlists?
- can I use a command line or whatever to play such a mood?
- would I be able to use tasker or eventghost to play such a mood?

I used to use smartmix, but since it ended, I really miss the feature to
just click a mix and then it would just play. I setup a whole tasker
profile to make a mix play and turn on my receiver to play music. And I
would like to replicate that.

Thanks for helping!

Too slow on my set up. Only about 400 tracks a day. Total scan time will
be nearly 2 months. I am glad Michael has sorted a don't stop the music

if you read starting where I pointed out you'll learn the story of why
smartmix died. Spotify owns it and they changed their API effective the
last few days. So no longer works with things like smartmix. And there
are no plans for Spotify to open it up again for others to use. So
that's why it's dead for squeezeboxes.

tracks.

OK, since you tell me it's really DPC, I've been playing with the data I

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spicefly SugarCube for Android

2016-06-12 Thread rlem

For me it works now! 20 songs got copied (albeit a little slow).

For now I have to figure out how to combine this with my normal music
syncing workflow, because I have a separate program (iSyncr) that syncs
files/ratings/playcounts between iTunes and my phone (through iTunes I
can also synchronize with LMS).
With the addition of Spicefly some files are copied to my phone that I
already have.
Question: would it be possible to just have a .m3u playlist generated?

Thanks again for sharing this with us!

Hi,

The Music Tab is Dynamic Path conversion it just doesn't say it is, so
anything in the Music Location Server Name field is replaced by the
Music Location IP Address.

Let me have a look at the wording on the tab, potentially I can part
fill some of these fields if the MusicIP fields are correct as I can get
it from the response from MIP.

Thanks for your help
