Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Weather, Date, and Time v2.2.2 via wunderground still working?
I get data randomly, about every 20 minutes, for about 10 seconds milosz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11057 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107202 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Weather, Date, and Time v2.2.2 via wunderground still working?
I also emailed Martin and he sent me a similar reply. Curiously today I got weather data for about 10 minutes and then it returned to the question mark. I too agree that Wunderground must have changed, since we all have different setups but the same problem. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
I know you guys are always looking for suggestions to improve your platform so here goes: how about adding Spotify connect? This would be a killer feature that the community would be really grateful for. In case you haven't seen it another member has outlined a proof of concept here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?107210-Spotify-Connect-on-LMS-Proof-of-concept Just a suggestion. usc95's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59694 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101856 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotify Connect on LMS - Proof of concept
I think your approach isn't totally wrong in its principles. It's just not ready for prime time yet :-). We'd indeed need a wrapper application around librespot, exposing control feature (play, queue, stop etc.) and serving the data in a way we can consume in LMS. That's pretty much what Triode had done for the existing implementation. Quite obviously there should be more than just this, to eg. handle when somebody was controlling it through the Spotify app etc. So... who's familiar with Rust? Or willing and able to learn it? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Protocol Handler - play Spotify on all your Squeezeboxen
Well, Spotify connect does not require you to have your phone on, or to stop the music in your living room when you take a call in your study. It's much closer to that way that iPeng works. Hi doctor_big, Have you tried running the setup via LAN to see whether the issues are directly connected to your WiFi signal? I agree with this although i use Ipeng rather than controller. I do hop that we can wrk out a soluition. I suppose that if the worst cmes to the worst I may be able to use the spotify iphone ap and airplay to play to my squeezeboxen but I think it would be a shame not to have it spotify integrated with the local files (and t have to use two different apps). If some were to get spotify connect working with LMS, would that still require the use of the spotify controller app. If so, I cant see that it's much different from using airplay. I guess I culd always migrate to deezer or Tidal, but since I have a family spotify account this might cause ructions I wonder whether Sonos have worked out a way of getting the spotify app to work after libspotify goes? I suspect not since they recently incorporated spotify connect. adamdea's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37603 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105187 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Weather, Date, and Time v2.2.2 via wunderground still working?
Good morning Bill, it is always nice to hear that there are still people out there who use the good old Weathertime plugin :-) Myself, I have not touched or used that software for years, so I sadly can not offer any advice to you. Cheers, Martin milosz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11057 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107202 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Weather, Date, and Time v2.2.2 via wunderground still working?
I get the NO DATA question mark almost all the time now. Did Wunderground change their API or something? Did the Wunderground API key used by the plugin "expire" perhaps?? Is Martin Rehfleld still around / active with this plugin? What do we do to fix this? milosz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11057 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107202 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
