You might still have a network or DNS issue. As the file is mutiplexed audio/video, depending on the video compression at a time, the plugin might run out of audio (video compression is low and uses bandwidth). DNS speed is also a problem that might happen - check what DNS server you use, your ISP might not provide you fastest name resolution and because the file is downloaded in chunks, there is such resolution at every chunk. You can try Google DNS; 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 See also my response below LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Success: MusicIP and Spicefly Sugarcube running on Raspberry Pi
I know this is a bit off-topic in this thread, but I wasn't sure where to post this question. I've been using spicefly for a few weeks and have specific rules on what songs to play based on MusicIp filter. However, it seems to just pick random songs. When I look at the SugarCube Live View, it shows an empty MusicIp Track Recommendations: 23830 So, based on this, it looks like MusicIP isn't making any recommendations, which verifies that spicefly is just picking songs randomly. Any help/advise would really be appreciated. Hi, i'm experiencing interrupted playback. - Can you please point me to how can I increase playback buffer ? I was wondering that lower quality video might not always be the best choice as it might reside on server that is further away than higher quality video. Where (in code) can i change preferred stream types ? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.9.0 - now with experimental Spotify Connect support!
I have 2 LMS systems running: one on a max2play (RPI 2), and one on a piCorePlayer (also RPI 2). Both configurations have been installed from 'scratch', with the most recent versions of the software, including LMS and Spotty. I have skipping problems with Spotty on the piCorePlayer when I playback with my Squeezebox Radios / Touch  No skipping occurs when I use the piCorePlayer. In addition, no skipping occurs at all when I use the LMS of the max2play system in all combinations of Squeezeboxes and the dedicated players, including synchronization of all players.. Can anyone give me some advice which settings are relevant to check in order to trap this issue??
