Yes, I had reverted to a working version. Also have you seen the comments on this closed issue? https://github.com/librespot-org/librespot/issues/175 Yes, that's the big issue I'd like to roll out a fix for. Unfortunately there are tons of other changes in that code which make me a bit nervous. It seems to work fine on my x86_64 Linux and piCorePlayer. But I still haven't successfully built for eg. Spotty keeps crashing on me. Everything played fine until 9:55.
