The biggest difference certainly is Windows vs. Linux/macOS on my end. But there are enough Windows users who run Spotty without any problem. That 1h thing sounds like the expiry time of the token expiration duration... but then I don't see any recent error message related to the token refresh. There's little errors around Spotty anyway. There's that one error which represents about 99% of your log file: "Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Web::HTTP::sendStreamingResponse...". While it doesn't seem to be related to Spotty only, whatever is causing it might be causing problems with Spotty, too. Would you have more than one player? One last suggestion: please give the 7.9.2 nightly a try. It addresses another issue I'm seeing in your log file. Again, unlikely to fix your problem, but worth giving a try.. http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/index.php?ver=7.9 Michael http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins - Spotty, MusicArtistInfo mherger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108898 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I do not know exactly what made the difference but I accept it was in my network. It makes no sense to me but yesterday I took delivery of a new modem/router for my network. It came from my new internet service provider who I changed over to on Wednesday. The Spotty problem was still there Thursday and Friday even with the new ISP, but after installing the new modem yesterday I tried Spotty today, and it works, perfectly! It must have been something to do with the modem/router, even though Spotty had been working with the old one some time ago. Go figure! Thanks for your help anyway, you did narrow it down to my system. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Radio Paradise Lossless Streaming (Plugin v2)
AAC 320 & 128 both play OK (LMS 7.9.1 on a Readynas Ultra 4). Did lossless streaming ever work on this system? I've seen similar mis-leading error messages on a macOS El Capitan - which has some outdated SSL related libraries. -- -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Huge thank you from me for this one. Squeezelite-X is an excellent bit of software that does exactly what I want - nice simple way of having a controller and player at the same time. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks again. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Hi Philippe, I'm using your UPnPBridge and YouTube plugins with my squeezeboxes and it works very well, thank you for making it possible. When I'm playing music through the UPnPBridge to my TV decoder, it works well. But when I'm playing a youtube video through the UPnPBridge to the same device, it doesn't work. Is their a possiblity to make it works, as configuring LMS to convert the stream on the fly ? If AVG comes with a built in firewall or web proxy, please disable it. Or disable all of it. The fact that authentication doesn't work already is unusual. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.3.0 - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I run Spotty 2.3.7/LMS 7.9.2 on Windows 2012R2. I have two Spotify user accounts connected to Spotty, both part of the same family plan. The libraries for both the users are visible ok and set to have separate submenus. However, Spotify Connect only sees the LMS players if the Spotify add is logged in as user1. When I log in as user2, all the players disappear. Is this a limitation? If local announcement didn't work, then yes, you'd only ever see the players configured using the same credentials as your Spotify app. Ideally I would like anyone on the wifi network to be able to play on any LMS player. I have the "don't announce" option in the Spotty prefs set you off. Failing that, how do I switch which user sees the connect players? Was that "don't announce" box ever checked? -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
