But you have chosen to send data to the player in pcm (which means it can be raw, wav or aiff) *and* you've selected flow mode. In flow mode, all the tracks are sent as a single continuous flow (single track), as if the player was just a DAC, and this is what enables true gapless and cross-fade. But for that to work, all tracks must be in the exact same format (sample size, rate and codec) as you cannot switch format in the middle of a flow You can specifiy sample rate and sample size by (eg) pcm,r:48000,s:16,flow but by default, if nothing is set, I do 44100kHz and 16 bits If you just want data to be sent in pcm, don't add flow and then the source sample rate and size will be kept LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. As for Squeezelite Advanced Settings, the way you enter them is to press the "More" button next to the Player Name field on the "Server/Player" tab of the Settings Page. There you can manually type in the settings you want, such as "-r [:]". I don't have any experience using any of those advanced features dealing with sampling rates, codecs, and stream buffers, so I can't really help you there. I would recommend you go to the squeezelite forum for help there. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
Hi, I have a serious problem. Last week, from one day to another last week the Airplay stopped working with my AVR-X1400H :( I did not change anything in the configuration or any versions on my LMS server or the airplay bridge, I've restarted the Denon, rebooted my LMS VM. Nothing helps. All the other airplay destinations like my GMGG WiFi Speaker are still working fine. It might be that the Denon pulled a firmware update as I've set it to automatic updates. On the downside for the bridge, Airplay from all Apple devices still works absolutely fine! In the RAOP log I always get these error messages (request failed): Code: [19:36:40.719899] PlayerThread:516 [0x710108]: flushing ... Thanks To try and ensure I don't waste too much of your time, I've retested my M1 CLiC with minimserver/streamer. I can use 24/96000 and 24/192000 tracks transcoding to what it refers to as L24;96 (which I guess = 'raw' 24 bit 96000) and WAV24;96 ('wav' 24 bit 96000). This all works OK. With the bridge I have never got wav to work on that device at all. I'm pretty sure I have had raw 24 working in the past with LMS doing the transcoding (I used to have a transcode in the file types for that), but I haven't tried again for a long time. I tried using c3po to transcode to wav with the bridge - that doesn't seem to work either. But again there are so many possibilities that without analysing the resulting data I can't really tell where the subtle differences are, and that's beyond my abilities these days. One thing is for sure. My M1 CLiC is a grumpy and choosy UPnP device. Why minimserver seems to handle it OK, but not the bridge, I have no idea. My 24/96000 flacs, encoding as flac, don't play on my M1 CLiC unless i transcode to some other rate (eg 88200). They do play on my Marantz. A log is attached of playing to the M1. I then updated to the new version. The UI is better - thanks. I tried again. The first time I played a 24/96000 it refused to play on my M1, again. I then tried transcoding down to 88200, and it played. I then opened some advanced options, set resample to 96000, and it played. I then tried many other options (inlcuding source), and each time it played OK. I'm totally baffled. feel such a fool, but I don't see what I've done that could cause this change, which really did happen. I am not dreaming (am I?).
