Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty really slow...

2019-03-04 Thread Michael Herger

Can you speculate as to what might be the cause of the potential network
issue? I'm willing to try things to get it working properly

And when I say "I'm sorry, no, as I said before", you're going to ask
"are you sure?"?

Some registry keys mentioned here and it says Unicode for friendly name.

No idea if that is revisionist but looks like WASAPI currently expects
Unicode.

Thanks, ralphy, agreed. I'll stand by and see what you find out when
you get your systems back on line.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Preset buttons

I have the 6 preset buttons on the squeeze radio set to different radio
stations and would like to mimic these buttons in HA. Instead of a
automation to turn the squeeze radio on when we are present, it will
also select the station depending on who's home first.

Can't you map a user to a preset button 1-6?

Righto,
Im using Home Assistant to automate things around the home, I have it
integrated with my squeeze server and HA displays what is playing in
each room with the option to stop, play or FF/Rew, the same for the
squeeze radio, I can also turn the radio on and off via HA.

Sorry, I meant a UUID for each button

AFAIK there's no such thing as a UUID for buttons.

Maybe you should line out what you're trying to do...

Any progress? I signed up some time ago and haven't received a
