Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
This is a fix to the caching scheme. Thanks *bwaldron * for the catch. - SLX will cache all Material Skin localStorage settings persistently to handle fact that MaterialSkin does not save layout as a server default, and actually to prevent every computer and person from having to have all the same settings. After Craig's explanation, I realized that what I did in 2.1.5 was not a good solution in a multi-device, multi-user situation at all. So SLX will remember all of Material Skin's settings that it stores in localStorage between runs. - R Greg Dawson Squeezelite-X rgdawson's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65236 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.7.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I'm sorry if this is already answered in this lng thread ;) I have a Synology Diskstation DS212+ and a Squeezebox Duet. This used to work till july last year or so. After that i moved and didn't reconnect the NAS until this week. Spotify isnt working anymore. I read that Spotify has changed things and the Spotty plugin does work but not with ARM powered NAS? Please confirm if it's impossible to make this setup work again, otherwise i have to lookout for a new streaming solution. Are you using the Spotty plugin or some older Spotify plugin? Please check Settings/Advanced/Spotty: it should tell you which helper binary it's using - or give you an error if it didn't find any compatible file. But I'd expect it to work. Linux/ARM in general might be one of the most popular platforms to run LMS/Spotty on nowadays. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I have been using Squeezer on my Android, and also Squeezeplay on a Fedora box (in WINE) and a windows laptop. Squeezer is strictly a player -- for example - I cannot add favorites to LMS if for example I discover a good stream ... I have to use the Logitech remote, or goto the web interface for the LMS ... ditto for Squeezeplay. I believe there are android apps which will allow you to update LMS. Squeezer is a free app. kappclark's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29572 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108189 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Qobuz requires API users to report listening activity. v1.370 finally satisfies this requirement. And might be the most boring update for you ever. There's no new feature. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Radio Paradise Lossless Streaming (Plugin v2)
When you say "stream to my amp" what is the player connected to your amp - a proper SB device, a Pi, one of the bridge plugins or what? I don't use Squeezer but my understanding is that it is a controller only. SqueezePlay is a software player that should connect to LMS and play on your PC through the PCs sound card. It cannot be used to stream to anywhere else. Since this works it suggests that the fault is not with LMS. Where is your LMS by the way? Also, it appears that selected utf8 audio devices by name in squeezelite-win was several issues. beta3 confirms that all devices can be chosen by number without invalid device errors. This was cause by several recent changes that I reverted. I haven't had anyone try selecting a device with unicode characters in the name to confirm that the unicode changes work. I moved squeezelite-win development to win7 and upgraded all the decoders as part of the beta builds. Unfortunately, squeezelite-win now requires a newer VS2008 redist version, which is going to be a PITA as the console error gives no clue to the reason. I may have to move it back to xp if I can't find a solution. All images and sound comes from LMS. So please answer some question first to decided where theproblem really lies. Images comes form one part of BBC, audio from another which may be geolocked. What version of BBCiPlayer are you runnign ? If it is not 1.6.2 or higher then the problem cou;d be due to BBCV changes. Whatr version of LMS ? A bug in LMS was fixed in 7.9.1 fater July 2018. This help BBCiPlayer when playing Live streams but fix is essential to 1.6.2 What platforms is LMS running on - Windows, OSX, Linux etc. 1.6.2 changes mainly affected Windows users. Are you in the UK or not ? If not in the UK are you using a VPN ? (e.g. NordVPN had a problem providing UK service to non UK users) What are thre BBCiPlayer setting ? For 1.6.2 they shoudl be DASH > HLS > MP3 > FlashAAC What programs are you trying to play in Listen Again ? Some BBC programs are only available as podcast and so don't play - a fix for this in 1.6.3 bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hmmm confusing  To me it seems like Squeezer is controlling LMS, which in return sends it feedback to Squeezer. They seem to (inter)act the same way (when one is stopped, the other one is. When one is paused, the other one is, when one selects a different station, the other one does. vice versa).
