[SlimDevices: Plugins] PiCorePlayer - States W'ifi IP: is missing - [Reboot] or [Save] to connect.' --------
I have been connecting to an Access Point Router in my House with a Raspberry Pi Wireless for about 6 years now. It has been flawless. Today, I reset the router to factory settings (Due to an unrelated problem). When I re-configured the router to my original settings, I used the same SSID and Password for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Bands. Upon rebooting my network, all of my Wireless devices connected to the Re-Set Router with no Problems, except for the aforementioned Raspberry Pi. It will connect and play just fine to another Access Point Router on my Network. When I try to Connect to Router in PiCorePlayer, I enter the SSID and Password and I don't get any error message, but at the IP Address line it just states "Wifi IP: is missing - [Reboot] or [Save] to connect." - I currently have it playing on a much weaker Access Point located in a more distant Room. This is somewhat coincidental as I have been helping a Raspberry Pi/PiCorePlayer newbie over the phone and we also cannot connect to his Router Wireless. He is getting the same message. And of course his other devices Laptop, Tablet, Phone etc have no problems. I do have the latest and greatest PiCorePlayer and LMS Server installed. --- It just seems like it is memorizing something from my router before I did a Factory Reset... I have a half dozen other devices that I did not have to touch after I configured the router. Any Ideas? [SlimDevices: Plugins] DAC keeps detecting audio signal from RPi USB input inspite of not playing any track
I have connected RPi + piCorePlayer (LMS + Squeezelite) USB > Topping E30 DAC setup. The DAC has USB/Coax/Toslink inputs; it goes to sleep when there is no signal on Coax or Toslink inputs. Where as it does not do so in case of USB. Even when I don't play any track, it keeps showing the previous freq of 48.0kHz, it looks like the USB input does not go idle. Please let me know the role of piCorePlayer or Squeezelite in this so that I can fix the same. swamytk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70526 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112824 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Have you checked your Wifi network? I once experienced problems with syncing higher resolution stuff, and when I looked at the status of my Wifi router, I could see that Wifi sending power was at the limit very frequently - which means: because of interference with neighbour networks, it could not put enough data rate through. I could fix that by manually adjusting the Wifi channel in the Wifi router settings. schup011's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66557 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112797 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
