Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] TrackStat Bad Params
Well wouldn't you know that it was something as simple as existing playlists for my different players that had music from before the databases were wiped and replaced! Clearing the playlists and adding new music (even the same tracks) allows me to see and set ratings again. Problem solved. I'm not off to restore my ratings. Thanks a bunch, Michael. [SlimDevices: Plugins] TrackStat Bad Params
I knew it was probably going to be a bad idea to click the "Delete Unused Statistics" button. I can't say for certain that it was the culprit, but I'm leaning towards it. Problem: I can't rate any tracks. When I do I get "bad params" in the server.log (with plugin.trackstat set to DEBUG). Code: [20-08-30 16:57:27.7119] main::init (387) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.9.3, 1597753178, Sun Aug 23 19:27:27 CEST 2020) perl 5.028002 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int [20-08-30 17:06:29.3560] Plugins::TrackStat::Storage::findTrack (533) findTrack(): URL: tmp:///Music/lossless/Big%20Audio%20Dynamite/The%20Globe/1991%20-%201-1%20-%20Rush.flac [20-08-30 17:06:32.2934] Plugins::TrackStat::Plugin::getRatingMenu (3554) Entering getRatingMenu [20-08-30 17:06:32.2949] Plugins::TrackStat::Plugin::getRatingMenu (3617) Exiting getRatingMenu [20-08-30 17:06:35.0331] Plugins::TrackStat::Plugin::setCLIRating (4757) Entering setCLIRating [20-08-30 17:06:35.0415] Plugins::TrackStat::Plugin::setCLIRating (4819) Track -126428440 not found [20-08-30 17:06:35.0422] Plugins::TrackStat::Plugin::setCLIRating (4821) Exiting setCLIRating [20-08-30 17:06:35.0430] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) Request failed with error: Bad params! I've tried nearly everything I can think of to fix the issue, but I'm clearly missing something or not doing things in the correct order. What I have tried (or believe I have tried): 1. Uninstall TrackStat. Restart LMS. Reinstall Trackstat. 2. Stop LMS. Remove TrackStat prefs. Restart LMS. 3. Stop LMS. Rename persist.db, library.db. Restart LMS. LMS automatically rebuilds these files. 4. Stop LMS. Uninstall LMS. Reinstall LMS. 5. Install TrackStat. Restart LMS. I gather that TrackStat is not finding Track 126428440 in some database. It's not clear to me which database the track cannot be found in nor why (other than "bad params"). A search of the forums (using Google so I could search for the exact phrase 'bad params') turned up no one having this issue before -- no surprise. I have backups of my ratings, so all options are on the table for me. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hello, I have updated my LMS Server to version LMS 8 and discovered the new function to include albums from streaming service (Qobuz in my case). Everything great since I can now find in Ipeng all my albums in folder "Albums" (without going in Qobuz subfolder). Nevertheless I have an "order" issue in Ipeng since all my albums / jackets are ordered by "Album name" instead of Artist Name... I have played with options & so on in Ipeng settings (as "Sort Albums by name" activated or not), but no solution found to get it fix. (Notice than on LMS Interface on my PC, I can change displayed album order thanks to display option @ bottom left button (but no effect on Ipeng)). Is it a bug or an hidden option I have not found in Ipeng or LMS ? Additionnaly is there an option to get "Album order" ordered by "last added" (as displayed in Qobuz\Albums, very usefull to not lose recently added albums) ? Thanks for your help & all the great improvments done on LMS & Ipeng, Axelwin axelwin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60811 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

As an aid to debugging problems with an outdated uuid still being in your updater.py file (vs the actual live skill-linking uuid), the command to "List known players" will now mention the first 5 characters of the correct uuid before finishing. Squeezelite stops streaming if you turn out the player. It does not really make sense to stop everything when exiting the app. The app is just a controller, so the player is not supposed to stop as the TV is also not supposed to stop after you put aside your remote... I don't really get the problem. What you wanted to have is to clear the playlist, and you can do that if you want. schup011's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66557 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112753 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi ralphy, here is a log playing the same mp3, interrupted at 2'54 like usual, corresponding to circa 16h07 in the log log: https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/9WPvGhb88n/ mp3: https://aiata.duckdns.org/s/ZxeHCMnKaFwoHnY Is the fact that it works on the same PC when using SqueezePlay of any help? mcoste's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12820 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The guide states "Squeezebox Server either check the "Show all 3rd party plugins" checkbox" which checkbox is not available anymore AFAIK. Therefore "manually configure my repository" is needed. The list of repositories on http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Squeezebox_Server_repositories is a big list and no hint which one to install. The URLs mathcing the author names (Erland) does not work. After finding the working URLs, only a couple of plugins appear on the list and the wanted clock applet is missing. Maybe I am on a totally wrong path as I would like to have a screensaver on Jivelite and this stuff is not good for that. Can you provide a download link for the problem mp3 file? squeezelite 1.9.7-1270 includes an updated libmad mp3 decoder which has been confirmed to fix the mp3 lost sync issue. There's a 2nd issue happening in winsock and windows 10. Where the server connection hangs for up to 30 seconds and the squeezelite cpu usage spikes until the socket fails with an unknown error and squeezelite recovers by reconnecting. I've only been able to reproduce this on win10, the same binary does not exhibit this on win7. Hi, I am a newbie in this Squeezebox/Jivelite world. Managed to install the system in my kitchen radio (RPi & Hifiberry amp+). I would like to have a screensaver combining now playing info and date/clock. This applet looks promising, however this topic is very frustrating as I cannot get the info how to start. The first post is outdated just like the linked installation guide in it. Can some please explain or point a guide which describes how to install this clock applet and how to customize? sakos's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70470 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=68269 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Did some extra testing: Everytime same song from same location (QNAP Storage 10GB fiber) squeezelite-1.9.6-1210-win32=> same problem squeezelite-1.9.7-1270-win64=> retest same problem again * Both stopped at exact the same position 5:33 Squeezebox Touch=> Play's fine foobar2000 1.5.5=> Play's fine (same computer as with squeezelite) Arthur Arthur's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6180 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
