Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin

2021-08-14 Thread scooper

I am running LMS 8.2.0 on pCP 8.0.0 and I can't seem to get through a
whole program without it restarting from the beginning or just simply
stopping. I have tried installing LMS on my Synology using Deezer and
encounter the same problem. I am hoping it is something simple that I am
missing, but I've no idea what else to try, and hopefully someone can
help. I don't think my wife will forgive me if we can no longer get the
BBC!

I concur. I didn't even need to add the SDT repo the way i did with old
my 7.x install. It automagically was just there. Now if it could just
make LMS actual see my music I'd be all set. But SDT is working fine!

You do not need to add anything to the additional repositories section.
If you are using a version of LMS >8 you should be able to check the box
next to "Use unsupported extensions" at the very bottom of the plugins
tab. After clicking apply you will see a new section of plugins titled
"Unsupported Plugins" in red text. You will find Custom Clock Helper

What is your Perl version? Can you do a *server* log when you are trying
to pair?

Dear all,

I have a problem with the bridge: when trying to pair with my AppleTV,
code is properly requested from the AppleTV, but when I click on "Pair"
with the proper code nothing changes on the interface on both sides.

It appears, looking at the log, that the bridge crashed:

Oh, it's not that I don't like it — I'm a sucker for visual data. It was
just a hypothetical scenario, really.

Neither can I now. Having enabled it soon after you announced it, it
was only today I noticed I it wasn't listed in my "Active Plugins".

Having manually disabled it earlier today, I just enabled it again. Lo!
and behold, it's listed in "Active Plugins".

Sorry to have troubled you with a rogue bug report!

Why would you -ever- want to uninstall it? :-)

I just checked on my test machine: installed it from LMS main repo, LMS
restart, plugin works, deselected it in settings, clicked apply, lms
restart, plugin gone.
So unfortunately I can't reproduce your problem here. It's really a very
unobtrusive plugin, no hooks, not even a pref file.
Did your log show any related error or warning messages? If so, please

Once the Visual Statistics plugin is enabled, there doesn't appear to be
any (easy) way to *dis*able it — ie, it's not listed under "Active

Has anybody managed to run Material on a Joggler?

I can see two possible ways.

1) run Ubuntu with on screen keyboard and boot into Chromium running in

wanted.

2) install Android and then the APK

Anyone tried either yet?

I was just mentioning in an email conversation that the Virgin Radio

So, this is just to let you know I am aware, and am looking to see if it

Don’t set any additional debug to start with, it makes first analysis
more complicated. Clean the log file, take a faulty log with additional
set to none and post it here

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)

2021-08-14 Thread bobcoupee

Hi

I am having difficulties trying to use some of the streaming plugins
with a Roberts iStream 2: any live or catch-up stream from BBC Sounds
doesn't work, nor ones from the Global Player. Planet Radio streams work
fine. Radio streams via TuneIn work fine.

I have attached the bits of the UPnP log I think are relevant:

"StreamTitle='Percy Grainger, Philip Martin - Handel in the
Strand';StreamUrl='';track_info='k4Smc3RhdHVzoUihQNJhF3WrpHR5cGWhVKJpZKY0MTY0ODmEpnN0YXR1c6FDoUDSYRd4P6R0eXBloVSiaWSmNDAxMjM1hKZzdGF0dXOhQ6FA0mEXehCkdHlwZaFUomlkpjQwNTM5OA==';UTC='20210814T075254.474';
