Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] 7.3 and XM radio
Max F;423374 Wrote: Are you guys getting the farty/static noises with this new plugin and 128kb stream? I'm running 7.2.1 with the old plugin and get repeated noises - some channels worst than others. Some folks have also noted problems on one of the XM forums - they aren't using Squeezebox though. It appears to be packet losses. Anyway, I assume its on XMs end with the new 128 kb stream, but just wanted to check if anyone else is having issues with noise with the squeezebox. Yes, I hear the clicks, pops and other nasty sounds from the XM stations, it isn't happening to the Sirius stations. Let's hope they get it fixed soon. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] XM can no longer log in
I made a quick attempt to incorporate the changes made in XROAPI.pm to work with 7.x. I made no attempt to fix the web interface issues for 7.2, but it appears to be working on my systems, (or as much of it as before XM made their change). I installed this on both my Ubuntu (SqueezeCenter 7.2) and Windows XP (SqueezeCenter 7.0) machines and it worked. Obviously better with 7.0 than 7.2. Joe Bob: Many thanks for fixing this. I'm sure there are other members that also extend their thanks. ej +---+ |Filename: Plugins-XMRadio-Plugin-2.0.0 - for version 7.x.zip | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=6112| +---+ -- Earlj Earlj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11067 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53275 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

I'm having the same problems. It worked on Tuesday, but not today. They usually start working again after a short period of time (hours to days; never really kept track as it's pretty infrequent). Also, I wonder if XMO was having some problems last weekend, as I experienced this a few times on various over the past week.
