mherger: Did anyone figure out why this happened? On Github there's talk about "channel errors", is that some networking stuff? I noticed that playing a song on Spotify, does not spawn a new process (checked with 'ps aux | grep -i spot'). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
The UI seems to try to play for 5 secs, then skips to the next song in the list. No audio is heard. The log seems to indicate that it just iterates the playlist songs in a few secs (look at the log timestamps). Updated to IO-Socket-SSL to current (2.074), didnt help :( I got this error, when browsing a Spotty playlist. Has worked flawlessly for years. Did not update anything before this. Today, I updated the server, LMS and Spotty. Still the same error. I even nuked my Spotty settings and tried again. Same error. I got this error in server.log, but might not be related (I also updated all Perl and SSL packages): [22-03-01 16:43:48.1605] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1343) Warning: [16:43:48.1603] *** Using the default of SSL_verify_mode of SSL_VERIFY_NONE for client is deprecated! If you really don't want to verify the certificate and keep the connection open to Man-In-The-Middle attacks please set SSL_verify_mode explicitly to SSL_VERIFY_NONE in your application. *** After a few tries, Spotty starts with the "Failed to get access token Please check Settings/Advanced/Spotty Spotify for Squeezebox in the web interface" message.
