Hello Dag, Excellent work indeed! I have found one problem when downloading to the phone - folder and file names are apparently constructed from ID3 tags without character validation, and that causes albums like American III: Solitary Man and songs like Where do the children play? fail. Okay, James, thanks for the clarification. Guess I just haven't noticed this earlier, so it's obviously no big deal! A bit annoying now that I've spotted it though... What about the other issue? The song timer stops after 0.2 secs, then starts again. [SlimDevices: Plugins] ITunes Update doesn't update the last track
The last track of an album or playlist doesn't get updated in iTunes until another album is started. Below is the log of the two last tracks of an album. Another strange thing is that 'Starting a new song' occurs twice for every track. I'm on Win XP, SC 7.3.2, most recent versions of ITunes Update and TrackStat. Hello James, I have tried your suggestions, and also did this: - Uninstall all plugins - Disable all Extras that I don't need - Stop SC - Clear the plugin cache - Start SC (all good) - Reinstall ITunesUpdate (only) - Restart SC. Still no ITunesUpdate (couldn't load). This is a dedicated PC with only SC, ITunes, Firefox and Avast antivirus on it. Yes, everything seems to be in the right place, and from what I can tell, the contents of the iTunesUpdate folder looks okay. Thanks for the quick response! I've got only one copy installed, and my other plugins (TrackStat and associated) all work fine. Clearing the plugin and browser caches makes no difference. I just tried to remove the plugin, clear caches, and restart SC. No ITunesUpdate in Extras, and the log looks ok. Then reinstall ItunesUpdate, restart, same problem as above. [SlimDevices: Plugins] SlimScrobbler char encoding trouble
After upgrading from 6.3.1 and 0.34 to 6.5 and 0.35 the character encoding seems messed up (example: Nådens år is submitted as NÃ¥dens Ã¥r). I'm on Win XP. Yes, I removed the Plugins dir completely before the upgrade. As I haven't seen any other reports on this, I assume that I've done something stupid.
