GoCubs Wrote: Hey Peter- Thanks for the suggestion. I recently added km/hr and I recall someone jokingly saying that at some point someone will want knots as well. This is easy enough to add so I went ahead and added it on my local copy. Hopefully I have the right conversion from mi/hr. Does dividing by 1.1515 sound correct? I'm actually working on a new version of the plug-in that has quite a few changes on the internals. For those technically interested, I'm using SlimServer timers instead of using my own hacked version. This cleans things up and hopefully will help prevent server hangs. I'm also adding full text weather forecasts (displayed like sports scores), and some other minor stuff. Other than a few issues I'm cleaning up, everything seems to be working pretty good on my local copy. -Greg Wasnt THAT long until the knotts request, was it? :D -- Néstor Whole album Flac files -- Squeezebox (3) -- direct to Outlaw 7100 amp using Slimserver Preamp Vol Control -- Monitor Audio S6i Néstor's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: ANNOUNCE: Plugin for much improved searching with the Squeezebox remote
Hi Stuart, Great plugin! it simplifies search in a big way... I have found a minor issue with it: artist names (or song's/ album's) containing non-english characters are shown with some symbols instead of the right non-english character. That same name appears fine if I browse by artist in the standard Slimserver menu and everywhere else in Slimserver, so its as if some final character conversion is missing in the plugin to get the right character to display. (This is a display issue, not a search string issue, I mean: the search string has all english characters (artist first name) so everything is fine for searching, but when the search is done the result shows the artist last name with these wrong characters) -- Néstor Néstor's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=17943 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Some feedback, I've been using the multiple logins for slimscrobbler for some 3 days now, and it works great! [SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: StringEditor
Hi, I have found that for the StringEditor to work for me (win2K or WinXp) I have to restart the slimserver by hand from the command line, instead as a service (where it does not seem to work at all). Also , after changing some strings , the rest of the server seems to forget a lot of strings (for example in the initial menu), then I just restart the server from the command line and I can see all the translated lines. Kind of used to it by now ;-) -- Néstor ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

The plugin only works when slimserver is ran from the command line, and it shows the missing strings after adding translated strings as I mentioned earlier. -- Néstor ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: StringEditor
Im pretty much finding the same, but now it seems to work ok if running as a service too. When the server is started I can see the plugin, and I can see lots of missing strings (including plugins strings), after translating just one, all the missing plugin strings do not appear anymore and many of the menu options are shown as blank (I need to restart the server to be able to have it working again). Any idea? I will upload some screen shots. Thanks! -- Néstor ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: StringEditor
Michael , sent the screenshots by private email , seems I cant upload them here. One more thing I found: after I got all those blank lines on the menues, if I change to english for language and then back to spanish, all of them are back (including the ones belonging to the plugins), but I have to do this for every translated string. :-/ -- Néstor ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
