The first two Music Mixes that I tried worked happily, so I assumed that all would play outside of the UK. I just tried the errant example from my laptop and it says 'not available outside of UK', however others do work, so it's hit and miss. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin
I'm trying to play from \BBC SOUNDS\MUSIC\MUSIC MIXES and while the server shows the item playing, I get no sound from either of my Squeezeboxen. Live BBC works happily, as does play it again from the Station Schedule Items. I'm running LMS v8.1.2 and BBC Sounds 12.19.0 and am outside of the UK and not using an VPN proxy software I'm able to play these programs from the BBC website or within the official BBC Sounds app. Any suggestions gratefully received. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SuperDateTime - Current Date/Temperature and/or Baseball Screensaver
The WU API has been around since 2010 to help you develop apps and websites as well as manage your Personal Weather Station data. During that time, weve watched you build amazing products and visualize weather data with creativity and purpose. Over the years, our infrastructure has been unable to keep up with the growing numbers of users coming to us for API data. This has led to higher costs as we worked to keep the service stable and dependable. Eventually, we realized wed need to make drastic changes or risk serious problems for our API. As a result, weve made the difficult decision to retire the Weather Underground API. The Weather Company, which acquired WU back in 2012, offers a powerful suite of enterprise-grade APIs that might be better suited to meet your scale and performance needs while offering a broader range of weather data. You can see these products here . Heres what you need to know going forward: Your subscriptions, and therefore access, will continue to work through 12/31/2018 . If you are a paying WU API customer , you will receive a call from a representative from The Weather Company, and IBM business, to discuss transition options to other API services. If youd like to have these conversations sooner, contact us . If you are a Personal Weather Station owner , you will receive more information about our plan to offer free access to the data you provide to Weather Underground. Well reach out once that plan has been finalized. For developers who use WU API data for non-commercial purposes , you will have access to a new plan for a personal use, low call volume API. Stay tuned for more details as we build this out. The WU Forum will continue to be the best place to connect, keep you informed, share your feedback and get your questions answered as we go through this process. We are grateful for your commitment to Weather Underground and appreciate your understanding and support as we work through this process. These changes will allow us to continually improve our services and develop new features to keep WU a thriving place for you for many years to come. Thanks for being part of the community! I have 2 SB3 Classics running off LMS v 7.91 and using SDT v5.10.26 - I finally have the formatting on the display as I want it on SB3#1 but for a reason I can't find, SB3#2 will not display the same data set. Is there a limitation that prevents more than one SB3 from displaying the data? The strings in use are shown in the attached screenshot. When not in use on SB3#1 I get a weather icon, High and Rain Percentage. A one line prediction for the next day and the time and current temp. On SB#2 I get an icon, day/month, and Rain Percentage. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] looking for BBC radio urls to add to mysqueezebox.com
Occasionally the Radio loses connection with the PC that runs LMS, and the Radio then connects to MSB.com - I'm not sure I follow your cut and paste idea. The LMS favourites are actually BBCiplayer links (the SB plugin) so if the Radio is connected to MSB.com they won't work. I've tried pasting the direct BBC urls but msb.com says that the streams are unrecognised. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
I'm running Squeezebox Classic with Logitech Media Centre v7.71 on Windows XP. It's all been very happy until this week, when my BBC Listen Again choices just don't start. I've tried changing the Audio format for the iplayer plugin in settings but the console shows the stream trying each format and then just dying.
