Not quite there yet, I'm afraid... On the sb controller, if I have a spotify track playing, press "+" and select biography, I now get the "read biography" entry (I didn't with version 2.9.0 so that's a step in the right direction), but none of the other entries (like "artist photos" etc). When I select "read biography" nothing happens. Server log says: [10-09-22 06:40:08.8768] Slim::Control::Request::execute (1945) Error: While trying to run function coderef [Plugins::Biography::Plugin::cliQuery]: [What string to format? at Plugins/Biography/Plugin.pm line 1311 ] But here's the interesting part; If I go to the SBS web ui and select biography (which by the way works fine), and then retry the operation on the sb controller, the biography is displayed correctly. It's almost as if the data has to be cached first. But that isn't quite true either because if I do this with another artist and then go back to the first one, the issue is still there (until I fetch the biography from the web ui). Please let me know if there's any more information I can provide. Ideally, I would like to be able to access all the biography entries (photos, see also, followers, influenced by etc) from the track details menu of a spotify track. I seem to have the same problem.
In the SBS web ui it works fine, but on my controller i get the
spinning wheel and nothing happens.
Same message in server log as previously posted by Erland.
Plugin does work on controller with library material, only not with
spotify tracks.
Running SBS Version: 7.5.1 - r30836 on Windows Home Server with
receiver/controller at 7.5.1 r9009. Biography plugin v2.9.0, Spotify
1.0.5, latest MHCPAN modules in the plugins folder.
Not sure what to make of your reply, does it mean it will be fixed in
2.9.1, or that 2.9.1 is already released ('cause I can't find it)?
