Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Moose 0.69 (win frontend)
It somehow hangs when scanning (using a MySQL connection) is at +/- 20%. The scan progress window doesn't paint anymore (on XP the window outline is visible but the previous screen content is remains visible). I'll use 0.68 for now. -- cybersnoop cybersnoop's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4395 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55076 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Rescanning for more than an hour (due to 7.01 -- 7.2 upgrade on a slowish epia box) gives: [image: http://i38.tinypic.com/e84c8x.png] -- cybersnoop cybersnoop's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4395 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49269 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Dr Lovegrove;261081 Wrote: * Squeezeslave - Now just launches a process - no command windows, etc I'm feeling the doctor love over here. It works really great! Except for the connection loss trouble as mentioned above (which is quite common for my laptop uses as I move out of the house or go put it in stand-by). Something on my whishlist (but presumably quite a big feature to implement) is a 3-pane (now playing + playlist + library) integrated window. It would also be nice to have some kind of library auto-update feature when the server is done rescanning (which Moose seems to pick up somehow already). Also, I feel updating the library could be faster as dumping the entire slimserver database only takes 10 seconds on my server but the updating Moose takes several minutes. Ahhh, I could go on forever with wishes but that would make me look so demanding while I'm actually really happy that I get this stuff for free. I would be glad to help you out with some features though. -- cybersnoop cybersnoop's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4395 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42546 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Moose 0.63 (windows frontend forss sc)
Moose is great, thanks! The squeezeslave integration is improved and actally working now (due to the server address passing). It would be nice if the console windows was hidden, the taskbar entry gets irritating when Moose has this nice tray icon and I'm not intressted in the console output anyway. Also, is this topic title typo thing going to be a tradation? :) -- cybersnoop cybersnoop's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4395 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42073 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Moose 0.62 (windows frontend forslimsqueezer)
I was looking for a place to make comments on how to improve the squeezeslave integration, but now I'm just left wishing there was a 0.63 already :) SqueezeSlave + Moose is really nice for streaming music over the network as squeezeslave uses a much bigger buffer than my previous samba + foobar2000 setup. My wifi link upstairs seems to have the occasional glitch which the squeezeslave buffer catches nicely. Plus I get to use Mooses nice player functionality all the time. -- cybersnoop cybersnoop's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4395 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41031 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Confirmed.
