Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.8.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Thanks Michael for your reply. Apologies if it had been brought up before - couldnt find info in this thread. One thing seems to make it alittle less painful - I switch to the legacy helper. It stopped now and then - so far no disconnect. I can click play if it stop to continue. Thanks for the reply though. Am using sotm - the librespot they provided doesnt have the same problem as spotty. But its arm7 though ho_kuku's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65985 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110455 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.8.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Dear Michael, Thanks for your time and dedication to the LMS community - greatly appreciated Quick check with you on this - this question has been asked a number of times by me and other users - but was not responded directly - so I thought I wanna ask one more time before I give up While on spotify connect - the i always get random disconnect after 2-3 songs. It always appears that the last playable song continue to play indefinitely but there are no more sound. The album or playlist will not progress to the next track Also - when I click on the next track - spotify connect disappear from my control app. Sometime it gets so bad - that the spotty disable my squeezelite player and I'll to manually restart the player myself. Am using ARM8 - Odroid N2 and also an NUC - same behaviour. Both on Dietpi distro - Debian Buster Not sure whether its an incompatibility issue Error log below: [19-07-12 13:43:32.3858] Plugins::Spotty::Connect:: DaemonManager:: checkAPIConnectPlayers (208) Connect daemon is running, but not connected - shutting down to force restart: 02:d0:08:40:f1:ef [19-07-12 13:43:32.3888] Plugins::Spotty:: Connect:: DaemonManager::stopHelper (174) Shutting down Connect daemon for 02:d0:08:40:f1:ef (pid: 3438) [19-07-12 13:43:32.3941] Plugins::Spotty:: Connect:: Daemon::stop (129) Quitting Spotty Connect daemon for 02:d0:08:40:f1:ef [19-07-12 13:46:41.4395] Plugins::Spotty::Connect:: DaemonManager::stopHelper (174) Shutting down Connect daemon for 02:d0:08:40:f1:ef (pid: 3489) [19-07-12 13:46:41.4397] Plugins::Spotty::Connect:: Daemon::stop (129) Quitting Spotty Connect daemon for 02:d0:08:40:f1:ef [19-07-12 13:46:45.1118] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (486) 02:d0:08:40:f1:ef: request not dispatchable! ho_kuku's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65985 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110455 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.8.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Hi Michael, Reading thru this thread - I see a couple of us have this problem with spotify connect and typically what were reported has a common root to this error msg Connect daemon is running, but not connected - shutting down to force restart Is there a solution for it already. Ive reported this on page 40. Didnt see any solution for this so far ho_kuku's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65985 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110455 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.8.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Hi Michael, I too experienced random/pause with v2.8.4 I did enable Info logging for the spotify add on and it seems to help However - I observed (in htop) an increased in cpu usage when spotify is jumping to the next track. Is this normal? Am on Debian - aarch64 Odroid N2 platform ho_kuku's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65985 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110455 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
