Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty 4.4.6 and Docker on NAS, not working

2021-01-28 Thread ido_nl

Synology had a native LMS app, but they discontinued it (June 30,
2020).

So docker is the only way to go, or you need someone who made it
available for Synology

I can use LMS and send local files and radio streams to the player, no
problem. But my spotify cant connect.

Host mode would work, as it will open all ports. Perhaps I should run a
port scan within the docker container.

I now solved it using the max2play Pi image and run the local Spotify
client on the Pi, bypassing LMS.

Oh well, 1st world problems I guess :)

Thank you all for the replies, but no dice unfortunately.

@Jaca what are your settings?

I created everything from scratch now, using the cummunity LMS
(lmscommunity/logitechmediaserver)

Also mapped all the ports to their own ports
-p 9000:9000/tcp \
-p 9090:9090/tcp \
-p 3483:3483/tcp \
-p 3483:3483/udp

also tried 5353, but that port is already in use, now i mapped it to
5354

I installed the Spotty plugin and also have my piCorePlayer running on
my Pi (dont think this is actually needed for the Spotty plugin to work,
I think it works through the LMS and not the player, right?)

I still cant see the Spotty in my Spotify client. Good to hear its
working for others using Docker and Synology, dont have a clue why it
isnt working for me. Also dont know how to debug this.

thank you for the reply, going to check the ports and perhaps another
Docker image. Glad to hear its working.

If I am not mistaken, spotty runs through the server, not the player
client.

btw, I am talking about Spotify connect.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty 4.4.6 and Docker on NAS, not working

2021-01-12 Thread ido_nl

I installed Logitech Media Server v8.0.1 on my Synology NAS using docker
(apnar/logitech-media-server)

I have a raspberry pi with piCorePlayer.

Everything is working fine, except Spotty. My Spotify cant find te
device as a player.

I installed LMS also on my piCorePlayer, and it worked without issues.

I think there is a port that should be opened to the outside the docker,
but which one. Has anybody got this working through docker?

Unfortunately Synology doesnt have a native LMS anymore.
