Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread

2017-07-20 Thread jrgarrett

Currently running Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 - 1494667952 on
windows 10 and noted that remote playback on iPeng does not show my
phone as a player outside my local network. I am forwarding ports 9000
TCP and 3483 TCP/UDP. This has worked well for several years. I can also
see and control all my squeezebox players outside my local network. Have
the port forward requirements changed or could this be an issue with the
latest iPeng release? Any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread

2014-09-30 Thread jrgarrett

I have a question about the volume slider adjustment behavior. I have
been using Squeezeslave with the -volume off parameter to fix volume at
100%. I then have a script to pickup the values for "prefset server
volume" which changes the volume on my amplifier via rs232. This works
well with both iPeng as well as the web interface. In an effort to allow
playback of higher bitrate files I am wanting to change from
Squeezeslave to Squeezelite. Since no command line switch is available
in Squeezelite to disable volume control I am using the player option to
"fix volume at 100%". This works well with the web interface (ie. volume
is fixed however the volume control still responds) however in iPeng the
volume slider jumps to 0%. I was wondering if it would be possible to
change iPeng so that the volume control responds the same way the web
interface does in this situation.

Thanks,

Uninstalled/Re-installed iPeng and all is well, Thanks.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread

2012-05-21 Thread jrgarrett

I recently purchased a license for Spicefly SugarCube and see no way to
manage its options from within iPeng. In the Logitec app there is a menu
for this under "Settings". Am currently using LMS 7.7.2 on a Windows
platform. Is this a known issue?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread

2010-07-20 Thread jrgarrett

I am using iPeng with a software player (squeezeslave) to control my
audio system. I have installed TrackStat and can access/update ratings
through the menu that opens when you press and hold the currently
playing artwork. A single tap brings up the top overlay but does not
show the rating stars panel.

Any suggestions as to how to enable this panel.

Squeezebox Server 7.6.0 - r31064
TrackStat 2.10.3031
iPeng 1.2.1
Squeezeslave 0.9-133

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread

2010-01-28 Thread jrgarrett

I am new to Squeezeplay so still trying to get my bearings. I am using
iPeng with Squeezeslave and Squeezebox Server 7.4.2 (no hardware
devices) and get the message "This player is already registered to
another user.." when I go to "My Apps" on iPeng. Note that I have tried
both SqueezePlay and Squeezeslave software players. Any idea how to
resolve this?
