I will give it a try later. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
the URL ipeng:// works great on an iPhone to open the app. But it doesn't appear to open the iPeng for iPad app. Is there a different URL for the iPad app? jwmelvin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2564 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Dynamic playlist not updating
When I make a change to a dynamic playlist definition using the web interface, the file on disk is changed but playing the playlist does not recognize the changes. Is there some sort of cache that I can clear? In the particular example at hand, I am using the advancedwithrating template and unselecting certain genres, but it continues to play them. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custombrowse CLI
Thanks for the additional help. Do you think you could point me to an implementation of a CLI interface in one of your plugins that I can use as a model for adapting the JiveStatistics or JiveBrowse? It looks like that is going to be the best option, rather than trying to use the JSON interface (so our module can stick to a single interface). -- jwmelvin jwmelvin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2564 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75979 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Custombrowse CLI
I'm trying to access trackstat information through the custombrowse CLI. I have a basic understanding of the query from the wiki, but although I can retrieve information from other levels, I get nothing when I use hierarchy:trackstat_trackstat. It looks from the web interface that perhaps I need to go further to get any results, but isn't there a way to return the possible values, to narrow the selection without knowing ahead of time what the possible values are? I hope I'm missing something easy; any help is appreciated. -- jwmelvin jwmelvin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2564 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75979 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] rate command via CLI
For some reason, the rate command does not work through the CLI (for me). I use 7.3.3 on Ubuntu 8.10. All the other CLI commands work without a problem. The "rate ?" command just returns exactly that, as if the command is not recognized. I did precede the command with the player ID. I apologize if I missed something, but I cannot find a reference to how this command may have changed in the technical information or forums. -jason -- jwmelvin jwmelvin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2564 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65562 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Post #215 looks right on the money (thank you EFP). I've been meaning to install the Adobe socket server, but haven't found time from work and kids. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: slimfx - Flash-based Skin / Control App
Mike, thank you so much for replying (and with something I should have known to look for and try). Changing the maxVersion seems to have allowed the plugin to load, as it now shows in the settings/plugins page as checked. But the slimfx interface is still blank, unfortunately. Is there anything I can do to determine where the problem may lie? -- jwmelvin jwmelvin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2564 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32422 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SuperDateTime - Current Date/Temperature and/or Baseball Screensaver
I'm running a 2007-11-06 SC7, on CentOS 4, installed from the yum-based RPM posted by fletch: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39789 I installed SuperDateTime 5.5.0 to the /var/lib/squeezecenter/Plugins/ folder. On the settings page, SDT shows as enabled under the Extras tab, and appears as an item under the Advanced tab. When I click on that item to adjust the settings, however, nothing shows up on the right side of the screen. This is also true using the classic interface. Any ideas? -jason -- jwmelvin jwmelvin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2564 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
